Scripture Of The Day - Oneness With The Anointing

1 John 2:27 - "As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you,"

According to the scriptures, before you were born again, you were without the Anointed One (Jesus). If you were without the Anointed One you were also without the anointing.

But now, since you are one with Christ, you are in the anointing of Jesus. The anointing is available to you in every situation you face to destroy every yoke of bondage. The anointing of God is God on flesh doing those things only God can do.

So, whatever you are facing today, begin factoring in the anointing in your life. If a yoke is holding you back, then rejoice, because the anointing will destroy it!

Scripture Of The Day - Created To Dominate

Genesis 1:26 - "Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'"

God created you and commanded you to dominate the earth. God wouldn't have made that demand if you couldn't do it.

You have the potential to dominate the earth because God placed within every human being the ability to dominate the planet.

You dare not complain when you are dominated by the earth because God has placed within you the capacity to do whatever He asks. He did not give you the responsibility without also giving you the ability. He created you with the ability to dominate the earth.

Scripture Of The Day - Daring to Press On

2 Corinthians 5:17 - "All things have become new."
1 Corinthians 3:23 - "you are Christ's and Christ is God's."

God means for us to walk in this royal way. Jesus left us the responsibility of allowing Him to bring forth through us the greater works (John 14:12). If we do not step into God's purpose for our life, it is a tragedy.

God is waiting for us to act. Jesus lived a life of perfect activity. There is no standing still. "As He is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17). We must dare to press on until God comes forth in mighty power -- press on until Jesus is glorified.

Scripture Of The Day - True Intimacy With The Holy Spirit

James 4:4 -- "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God."

When you fall out of love with God you have to find movies, you have to find sports, you have to find other worldly things.

James calls it spiritual adultery to sleep with these things all week because there is no true intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

The very point of the gospel is that you are not living anymore. It's not just saying a prayer -- it's dying. The stone was moved for the Church to come in and die.

Scripture Of The Day - God Working Within Your Spirit

Proverbs 3:5 - "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."

Your self-nature is overactive, impulsive, and always striving for something just outside your reach. If you give up all those things that provoke your curiosity and set your mind spinning, you will have more than enough time to spend with God.

God, working within your spirit, produces a calm and faithful heart that the world cannot touch.

Pray within yourself all day long. Live in prayer -- let it touch everything that you do. Be aware of God's presence within you -- even when you are busy. The important thing is not to listen to yourself, but silently listen to God. Talk little and do much, without caring to be seen. Do this and peace will be yours.

Colossians 3:2 - “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things”

Scripture Of The Day - Speaking Seeds Of Faith

James 3:17 - "But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy."

As we speak the tender mercies of the Word over a problem, our faith begins to rise up within us. We then release words of faith and plant seeds of power. These seeds then begin to grow up and become greater than the problems.

They begin to bear fruit -- fruit of deliverance, healing, miracles, love, joy, and peace. Souls are drawn into the Kingdom as Jesus is lifted up by the words of our mouth.

James 3:17 says that the Word is without hypocrisy. That means when we call things that be not as though they were, we're not lying or being hypocrites. We are not speaking lies or deceptions. We are speaking seeds of faith -- the seeds that start the process of God's operations in our lives will change our entire surroundings.

Scripture Of The Day - The Desire To Attain

Philippians 3:16 - "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

Paul spoke about the desire to attain. There is no standing still. We are renewed by the Spirit. We never get into a new place until we come out of the old one (Genesis 12:1-4).

We must see revelation of God's purpose for our life and learn about who we are in Christ and our right standing with God. We can never be satisfied to stay where we are spiritually, for the truth continues to enlighten us.

We must move on, or we will perish. We must be obedient to the Holy Spirit who guides us.

Scripture Of The Day - Partaking Of His Mercy

Hebrews 4:16 - "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most."

When we sin, we don't need to punish ourselves, because Jesus already took our punishment and He now offers us His mercy. He is extending his mercy to you right now, but you must believe it and receive it in order for it to benefit you.

Don't turn away because you know you don't deserve it. Receive it and let it make you fall more in love with Jesus than ever before. Our sin will never exceed God's mercy because where sin abounds, grace abounds much more (Romans 5:20).

Affirmation:

Christ and I are one. I can never be separated from Christ, from whom comes all my supply -- all the power, wisdom, prosperity, and health. As He is so am I in this world!

Scripture Of The Day - Overcoming The Temptation To Wait

Romans 8:31,32 - "If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?"

When walking in God's purpose for your life you've got to take a few chances. It is a temptation to wait and wait until you are absolutely sure of everything before you make a move.

If you've prayed and prayed and gathered the information needed, you're going to have to jump and go for what you feel called to do.

You will find that even when your decision was not the best, God can still use the situation to bless and propel you toward your Destiny in Christ.

Scripture Of The Day - Enlarge Your Tent Pegs

Isaiah 54:2 - “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your ropes and strengthen your stakes."

When you don't think there is more to where you currently are in God's purpose for your life, you become limited. You think this right here -- all I see -- is it. This type of thinking keeps you from exploring and discovering. It keeps you from stretching yourself and dreaming about other possibilities.

If you want to meet God's calling in Christ on your life, you're going to have to believe there is more than what meets the eyes. You begin to choose to live like there is more by expecting more and praying for more wisdom and revelation (Ephesians 1:17,18).

Kingdom destiny followers know that more is beyond, and they commit to scaling barriers or other walls put up by their minds -- or by others.

Scripture Of The Day - Keeping Your Eyes On Jesus

Colossians 3:2,3 - "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God."

If you think like the world thinks, you will act like the world acts. So control your thoughts bringing them into obedience to the Scriptures. Program your mind with the Word of God.

The Word is spirit and is life. Don't let Satan deceive you into sacrificing the glory of God in your life for a few moments of self-indulgence and sin. Restrain your thought life.

Affirm, meditate, and visualize the Word in your heart instead of selfish carnal thoughts. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith.

Scripture Of The Day - Repenting Towards Heaven

Hebrews 13:5 - "He has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'”

When you fall don't waste your time trying to figure everything out. Your understanding will always be twisted when you are depressed and you will never see truth from that place.

Depression is the deception that comes from seeing the world from your perspective. Truth comes from seeing the world through Jesus' eyes where He sits at the right hand of the Father. Those who abide in His presence will say "the whole earth is filled with His glory."

When you fall short of the Lord's grace and sin entangles you, it is hard for you to come to Him. You must learn to always run to the Lord at such times, not away from Him.

You repent towards heaven - you thank God for his forgiveness and for His guidance in showing you how to repent. You must not only seek His presence, but you must abide in His presence continually.

This morning I was wondering what The Lord wants me do. What should I be doing as well as battling sin. Then I remembered be silent and listen to The Lord.'

Blessed be he who trusts in the LORD, who puts his hope in the LORD! Blessed be he who believes in the LORD, whose hope is the LORD. Bless those who believe in God and who put their hope in God!

Jeremiah 17: 7

Scripture Of The Day - Living in Christ's Faith

Romans 10:17, it says, "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing, by the Word of God."

Christ gave us the gift of faith when we received Him. We must hear the Word of God. The best way to hear it is to say it out loud as we go throughout the day. Also, meditate on it and visualize ourselves in the Word. It is Christ's faith in us, not our own faith, that we take up and use.

"In Christ lives all the fullness of God" (Colossians 2:9) -- "and in Christ you have been brought to fullness" Colossians 2:10) -- "as the Father has sent Me, I also send you" (John 20:21).

Because Jesus has already overcome the world, His victory is our victory. Therefore, there is nothing impossible for the Believer.

Ephesians 6:16 - "ABOVE ALL, TAKE THE SHIELD OF FAITH."

Scripture Of The Day - Connected To Eternity

Ecclesiastes 3:11 - "He has also set eternity in the hearts of men."

There is something within you that is being called by eternity. We live in time and space but time and space are connected to eternity, and God has put something into your heart that calls the unseen into the seen.

The vision God has put in your heart is "a piece of eternity" that He gave you to deliver in time and space -- that is, on the earth during your lifetime. God lives in eternity, yet He has specifically placed you in time so that others on earth will be able to see a piece of eternity that is in Him.

It is this piece of eternity that makes you uncomfortable or dissatisfied with your present life because you are not yet manifesting YOUR PURPOSE.

Scripture Of The Day - We Are Co-Workers With Christ

1 Corinthians 3:9 - "For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building."

Some believers think faith is a one-way street. They believe in God and wait on God to do the work. They think belief is the only thing they need.

That person does nothing but sit still and procrastinates, waiting for God. "Well, I'll just pray about it." they use waiting on God as an excuse for their own lack of engagement. "If God means for me to have it, I'll have it," they reason.

In order to advance in God's purpose for your life, you have to be engaged in the process. God definitely plays a role, but so must you. James 2:26 - "As the lifeless body is dead, so faith without actions is dead."

Scripture Of The Day - Co-Laboring With Christ

John 10:10 - "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

He is working deep in your heart, He is working and rewiring your mind as you feast on His truth, and He is strengthening you for what is ahead. He is bringing you further into the abundant life that you have in fulfilling His purpose for your life.

1 Corinthians 2:9 - "But, as it is written, 'What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him.'" He is bringing you forth into a time where you will experience a new lease on life. You will have greater strength in Him than you have ever had. You will have greater peace in Him than you have ever known. You will have greater resilience against the schemes of the enemy than you have had before.

He is increasing you, He is breathing life into you, He is strengthening you, empowering you, reviving you and refreshing you. He is the God who finishes the work that He started (Philippians 1:6).

Very nice unreal application of verses.
Ever tried to change a bad habit? It takes lots of effort over a long period of time.
We have an engrained addicted habit of sinning that we have to change.

We have to rewrite or rewire how our minds work so we think like God thinks.
We do this by reading, memorising and studying the Bible, by attending church and paying attention to sermons that explain the Bible.
By avoiding those things, activities that lead us into thing and then doing sin.

Paul uses the illustration of the Olympic athlete trading for a race and the illustration of the trained and fully equipped soldier ith his unit on the battlefield.

Take a hard look at yourself. Which one ar you like?

Scripture Of The Day - Addressing Old Attachments

Psalm 118:5-6 "From my distress I called upon the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me in a large place. The Lord is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"

We can unknowingly become attached to our own abilities, the world's structure, religious thinking, relationships, influence, gifts and responsibilities more than the ways of God. Sometimes in our life's journey we can see how our old attachments have held us in unbelief, fear, and a false sense of security.

God has an agenda for us to be aligned with His heart, ready to move, with NO ATTACHMENTS! In the NEW, there will be responsibilities and structure, but it will not be the same as the old because that mindset has been stripped away, as we establish ourselves in the mind of Christ. For we HAVE the mind of Christ!

1 Corinthians 2:16 TPT "For who has ever intimately known the mind of the Lord Yahweh well enough to become His counselor? Christ has, and we possess Christ's perceptions."
