Sorry that I am late on this today, but I had a lot of trouble trying to find the perfect one. I think this is a very good one that I just happened to find though.

Christians ought to live life in anticipation of that which is eternal in Christ Jesus. Lord help me to pray. Help me to live this life in YOU. I get discouraged and tired and want to give in to my feelings of discouragement. Encourage and strengthen me to lean into YOU and depend on YOU for my strength and help me to endure the trails, great and small, that the world throws my way. Amen!
 
Matthew 7:1-3 NKJV

When I started bible studies many years ago, I was advised to see two people when I read the bible, God and myself, nobody else.

I often wonder how people who do not know God get along in life.

I agree. Those kind of people have absolutely no hope in forgiveness, very little hope in repentance and salvation, and fear death above all else. I'm glad that I serve a loving God that has taught me live without fear and always continue on having hope.

I also see desperation in their life when troubles come because desperation is of Satan and he has a hold on those who do not serve God.

Yes that's another good point. The people who don't know God only decide to pray to Him and trust Him when problems start occurring in their lives.

I would like to say that this Christian lives as God commands and hasn't created most of his own problems. alas no. I must have to hit the wall to I bleed to learn don't do that. I highly doubt many Christians also don't live as they please. if we did as He commanded perhaps the church would be more effective and our light.

I'm point to me, no one else. I'm where I am at mostly because of my foolish choices.

Hi Jason
We could have a problem because of a foolish choice, but most problems happen upon us.
For instance, bad health, problems with our homes or families, etc.
It's at times like these that I'm thankful for knowing God.
Not only does he give me strength, but if I follow His ways, problems are resolved in better ways.
I get less upset and everything flows more smoothly.

Still reap that sin.

If I commit murder,I can be saved but it doesn't mean I will be free from my sentence.my point isn't to negate yours but sadly christians often love that sin too.

In my mind a Christian that commits murder isn't a real Christian, besides,.. without repentance I'm not all too sure that one can be guaranteed salvation. However, don't forget that this thread that Papa Zoom started is for daily Bible verses so let's not get too carried away. :topic
