I posted the above from an article of christian knowledge, or did I do anything wrong?
Here is another one of christian knowledge, is this one also against violation of copyright laws: http://www.gotquestions.org/seventy-weeks.html

Here is a quote from that article -

Notice that these results concern the total eradication of sin and the establishing of righteousness. The prophecy of the 70 weeks summarizes what happens before Jesus sets up His millennial kingdom. Of special note is the third in the list of results: “to atone for wickedness.” Jesus accomplished the atonement for sin by His death on the cross (Romans 3:25; Hebrews 2:17).

Do you agree with this statement - Jesus accomplished the atonement for sin by His death on the cross.

whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
Romans 3:25

Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
Hebrews 2:17

It has always been my understanding that Jesus Blood "took away" our sin, whereas the blood of bulls and goats "atoned' or covered over our sin.

Which is what Paul meant when he said - God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

Under the law, the sins where covered over, under the New Covenant, our sins are taken away.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins. Hebrews 10:4

How do you guys understand the difference between atone for and take away?

Thanks JLB

I couldn't post the other article from TPM/Triumph Prophetic Ministries like the first one about:Daniel’s 70 “Weeks” Prophecy, so I had just posted:
http://www.gotquestions.org/seventy-weeks.html. but, I do understand as to what you are saying about the one I did posted, and because of the one I first posted, but it was taken away.
