Daniel : is the little horn connected to the lawless one ??. Is it bible prophecy ? ?.

Ok so after all this discussion here and im talking to the OP and original question, I would say yes and yes to your question.

The Lawless one in Thessalonians 2:8 i believe is the same as the little horn in Daniel 7:8

So i would think its prophecy and the lawless one is connected to the little horn.

I agree. This account was a prophecy destined for a future time. The land and peoples that later became to be know as Great Britain started out small and eventually became a world power. You are transposing modern nations with early Bible prophecy. For example, Babylon was the world power when Daniel penned the accounts during his confinement-not Rome or the "small horn" that later rose out of the Roman empire.
The little horn didn't come out of the Roman empire. It came out of one of the four empires after the Roman empire. It came out of great Britain. It declared it independence then.
The people who formed the little horn came from the north west into the pleasant land . Thet arrived by ship out of the sea.

But you know something. It hasn't grown much at all.Ut still little.Even though it appears stronger than those around it,it's still little.

Daniel 7:20
And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

Even though the little horn becomes stout. He is never described as big.He remains very little.
He did take the seven heads away from from their forever owners though. He did that when he defeated the three.A testament to his strength .

Wow, thats one very indepth study. I cant say I would be able to lay it out like that. From what I read it dose makes sense.
Years of studying compiling scriptures and notes praying and asking the Holy Spirit to help me get it right and I can only hope it is. I'm big on full context and sometimes go a little overboard in the forums, but that's the writer in me. :)

The little horn didn't come out of the Roman empire. It came out of one of the four empires after the Roman empire.
There were only four Empire beginning with the Babylonian.

Babylonian Empire:
(Iraq) The lion represents the winged lions that guarded the royal places of Babylon. This Empire ran from 2000BC - 1759BC

Medo – Persian Empire:
(Iran) The ribs of the bear are part of the consuming greed that devours the first empire.

Grecian Empire:
(Greece, Turkey, Syria, Egypt) Four wings of the leopard described the swiftness of this empire that ran from 334-331BC. It wrestled world dominion from Medo-Persia. After the death of Alexander the Great the kingdom was divided into four minor kingdoms that continued as prominent factors in world politics until the Roman Empire gathered it back as one kingdom.

Roman Empire: (little horn, Daniel 8:9-14, 23-27)
Iron represents the stronghold this nation had. Daniel chapter 2 mentions the iron element of this empire that it to will be divided and broken as God will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.
This Empire ran from 753BC -27BC

There were four empires in the west after the Grecian empire.Or are you saying there is no such empires as the
Roman
Byzantine
Ottoman
Great Brittain ?
You believe these empires never existed?

The three kingdoms that were subdued by the little horn of Daniel 7:24 are the Heruli, Vandals, and Ostrogoths who were eliminated by the year 538 AD under the leadership of the Eastern Roman Emperor Justinian whose deadly wound came in 1798.

The seven heads are that of the Babylonian Empire, Medo/Persian Empire, Grecian Empire and Roman Empire. The ten horns represent the nations the Roman Empire scattered to when the deadly wound was put upon them, Daniel 7:23-25; Rev 13:3.

The Roman Empire began in 753BC by Romulus who founded Rome in 27BC with Augustus Caesar becoming the first emperor of Rome in 27 BC and died in 14AD. Rome controlled over two million square miles stretching from the Rhine River to Egypt and from Britain (England) to Asia Minor which made up the Grecian Empire of Greece, Turkey, Syria and Egypt. In 146BC the Romans destroyed Corinth during the Battle of Corinth and made the Greece Empire into a province of the Roman Empire. This timeline goes from 753BC to 27BC. Nero burned Rome in 64AD and blamed the Christian community in the city causing the Roman Empires first persecution of Christians. In 1453 was the rise of the Ottoman Empire that conquered Constantinople destroying the Byzantine Empire (Eastern Roman Empire) that reigned from 330AD to 1453AD. The Roman Empire was divided into an eastern half and a western half in 285 CE by Emperor Diocletian. It was the Emperor Constantine in 330CE who moved the capital of the Roman Empire to Byzantium (Constantinople) in the Eastern Empire. The Roman Empire was then called the Holy Roman Empire that was a political entity beginning in 800AD - 1806AD from the time of Charlemagne (Holy Roman Emperor) who protected Pope Leo III from Adrian's supporters in Rome to Francis II, King of France. Pope Pius VII was the Pope from 1800-1823. The Roman Empire is known today as Vatican City, a city-state surrounded by Rome in Italy who has diplomatic relations with every nation around the world.

The crowns on its heads show that this dragon claims royal authority against the true King who is God of all creation as he prepares to take his seat above all that which is Gods Kingdom claiming he is God as he prepares to deceive the world through that of an existing Roman Empire, Daniel 8:9-12; Isaiah 14:12-15.

The beast rises up out of the sea, Rev 13, as the sea here is symbolic of people and nations as in a sea of humanity, Daniel Chapter 7:1-8; Revelation 17:15. The seven heads are that of the Babylonian Empire, Medo/Persian Empire, Grecian Empire and Roman Empire. The ten horns/nations represent the nations the Roman Empire scattered to when the deadly wound was put upon them, Daniel 7:15-28.

These ten nations were the Anglo-Saxons (Germans in Great Britain), the Franks (French), Suevi (Portuguese), Visigoths (Spanish), Burgundians (Swiss), Alemanni (Germans), Lombards (Italians), Ostrogoths, Heruli, and the Vandals in northern Africa. The last three being Ostrogoths, Heruli, and the Vandals had already been destroyed by the Roman Empire before their deadly wound came in 1798.

The beast out of the earth, Rev 13:11-18, is the revived Roman Empire (mystery Babylon, Rev 17:5) which causes man to take its mark. Daniel 7:25 and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, He will think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time, 2 Thessalonians 2:13-12.

The ten horns are ten kings who have not yet received their kingdoms as the Vatican's New World Order Headquarters and the United Nations Organization, One Security Council that claims authority over the world are waiting for ten permanent members. In 2009 the UNO divided the world into ten economic regions and each one will have a Jesuit Provincial set over them, but their end will come with the glory of the Lord striking them down when He returns with us His army. (Will study more about the army in Rev 19)

Ten Kingdoms of a One World Government:

Kingdom 6: Latin America, Central and South America

I didn't even bother reading past the second paragraph.
Your saying the seven heads are seven empires is not scriptural and you failed there so there was no since reading on.

The seven heads are seven hills on which the city sits.To say the seven heads are anything other than what the scripture says is simply wrong. For those with wisdom, they will except this next verse as fact.

Revelation 17:9
“This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits.

The woman who sits on these seven hills is a city.

Revelation 17:18
The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

All it is ,is one city sitting on seven hills.
One city just like Jerusalem sitting on seven hills.

And the three horn the little horn defeated when it took control.of the seven hilled city of Jerusalem were Syria,Egypt, and Jordan.

When the ten horns attack Jerusalem and take that city, you still won't understand it.You will still be waiting for the little horn to show up.
They are hating that prostitute more and more everyday now.

Zech 14
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Daniel 7:8. I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots; and behold, in this horn were eyes like eyes of man, and mouth speaking great things. In revelation chapter 13, the political system receives deadly wound, and, a one world religious system takes over. Who leads this one world religious system ?? Any connection to the little horn ??

The little horn, the lawless one, the antichrist, the man of sin, the king of the north, the son of perdition, are all names associated with the false messiah (antichrist).

JLB

For those of you who can't figure out what an antichrist looks like, here it is.Antichrist will soon be changing the laws in Israel.

For anyone who believes Christ, you have the gospel as your proof.

Mathew 10:23
When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

The saints in Israel will be persecuted for 3.5 years.From.the time the host is given to the little horn till the day Christ comes.

You know, theres a difference between the first beast in revelation 13 and the second.

Same as the difference between the little horn and the one who gives the little horn the host.

Daniel 8:12
And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

They are not the same. There is the giver and the receiver. The is the king of the north and there is a little horn. They are not the same.

Well, if you do not read the full then you will miss out on the full understanding and only pick and choose what you want that distorts the full explanation. BTW, it's all scriptural plus history. You can believe whoever it is that is teaching you, or you can study the scriptures with the history of the four Empires.

My teacher is the word of God.
I even quoted my teacher so you could learn from my teacher as well.

Revelation 17:9

Revelation 17:
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
I've learned that this city is Jerusalem.

Isaiah 1:21
See how the faithful city has become a prostitute! She once was full of justice; righteousness used to dwell in her— but now murderers!

I'm not here to convince anyone to agree with me as these are my understandings of how I study the scriptures with the full context from Genesis to Revelation. Agree, disagree, it makes no difference to me, but it might help if you would at least read the whole postings of others and study the scriptures and history that is given.
