This week I went and saw Dark Shadows and I absolutely loved it. It was romantic, funny, creepy, and kinda scary. It alsohad a bit of action especially towards the end of the movie. The romance between Victoria and Barnabas was especially sweet. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
 
I read in a magazine that it was pretty good. They gave it a B+. They said that you will really like it if you are a fan of Johnny Depp. I really liked him in the Pirates of the Caribbean.:thumbsup
 
Me too. Johnny Depp is really funny. Some of the humor in the movie is that Barnabas (the main character) is from the later 1700s so he's not used to the modern world. A lot of people also didn't like the movie because they thought of it as more comedic than scary, unlike the original TV show. I thought that it had the right amount of humor yet was still kinda scary. I also liked the fact that it didn't start out really slow. You're ingaged through the whole movie.
 
My wife and I saw this last night, and I now have a new response when people ask, "What was the worst movie you ever sat through?".

Dark Shadows - hands down!!

Discombobulated story line
Terrible writing
No likeable characters
No main plot to follow

Apparently, the director had a deadline to meet and never got around to making sure this movie made sense!

The worst line of this movie: "I'm a werewolf. Let's not make a big deal about it." :help
