Anyone here play the Devil May Cry series?

I had never heard of it until this spring, a friend of mine at work told me about it. Another friend from the Gamestyle forum had played it and gave it a really good review.
I don't have much money, so I'm probably going to rent it eventually, and i probably wouldn't be able to buy it for a while. Are they any good?

First one only costs about $10 now, and it is well worth it. The second one really sucks, to say the least, and the third one is good as well (though in my opinion the first one was the best)
