Did Jesus Die And Get Buried On A Friday ?

I was reading the whole thread. That is when I saw it.
I know, I felt bad at first that no one was answering Lewis' post.

This is a subject that has had the church trying to do the math for two thousand years now.
You think so? Hmm, I don't know. I just assumed they accepted Friday was the day... gees, even the Reformers carried this belief into their traditions. I think the problem was that they all tried SO hard to seperate themselves from the Jews, their beliefs and their traditions (and preserve their own brand of tradition). When you start studying topics like this from a Jewish perspective, it all begins to make sense.
 
I did accept Friday as the day He died, but it doesn't work unless their days were different than our 24 hour days. There is only one full day and part of two others, plus 2 nights from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning.
