This article rather blatantly misrepresents the opinions of Alan Feduccia about the evolution of ducks. Feduccia has pointed out the early transitions of ducks from the line that produced flamingos. And yes, such a transitional form is known.
It also misrepresents the evidence for the evolution of birds, claiming that bird bones were found in the stomachs of fossil dinosaurs thats supposedly gave rise to birds. Except the evidence shows that earlier dinosaurs produced birds.
And it suggests that new finds, of larger predatory mammals in the time of dinosaurs somehow overturns evolutionary theory. But it offers no suggestion as to why that might be.
AIG had been doing much better in recent years, as far as honesty was concerned. This article is a large step backwards.
