Do animals go to Heaven?

Ok I have a question. I was forced to take a dog to the pound because I had no place to keep him any more and time had run out. After a set time they put the dog down. I think like 2 weeks. One day I went out side to my truck and had just thrown his leash and bowls in the trash can. I felt something and looked over and there comes bud the dog walking up slowly and looks at the trash can and me and then faded away. He was a faded image to begin with but not real faded. Trippy huh ? Its true though !!

But, until I married I loved to play with snakes, it freaked my mother out but so did the Daddy Long Legs, the Wolf Spider on my shoulder and the day I walked in with the teeth of two lizards, one on each side, clamped on to my ears for man ear rings. Reptiles and snakes are fun.

Hey Bill things have changed over the years with all the aanimal rights people so now it is no longer approved to pull the teeth of a lizard. See photo for clarification.....View attachment 6091

Yup, same little Guy I used to play with but you don't need no hole in you ear! Their teeth are not that sharp and they bite 'til you pull them off. And momma thought I was nuts!

I walked into the office one day with one of the little guys on my right ear and the secretary passed, smooth out. How can a man ever figure women out?

lol. I had one of those placed on my ear as a joke.
As a kid a friend of mine walked up one day with one biting the nostril separator in the middle of his nose and as much as I dug Horned Toad Lizards, these guys are so much better, they don't bleed out of their eyes when the panic.

Yeah, they don't bite hard at all. Loved catching them as a kid.

We live in the woods and my cats, fatally, play with them inside the house and go stupid crazy at night trying to catch them on the screen while the little guys eat the skeeters. I just like all kinds of critters, alway s have.

I'm going to come at this from a different angle, wouldn't it be possible for God to not only create animals on the New Earth, but a totally new species that were never seen by man (or for that matter an 8th note or a fourth color)?

Of course. He could also choose to resurrect people's beloved pets on the new earth. We will find out when we get there. The Bible is not specific on this issue.

In any case, the new heavens and new earth will be nice places to sojourn.

dolphins are among my most loved animals they are in my top 3 dogs, elephants & dolphins
but have you seen them in person in the natural? I get to see them from time to time. we have a place near the river(Not the ocean though we see them there as well) where they are seen flapping fins. that happened to me and I thought it was a bunch of fish then I remember oh this is called purpoise point and they do that here.

Paul tells us the whole or all of creation groans and travails in pain since the fall of man,

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. Rom 8:22

And all of creation is waiting for us to be glorified with Jesus,

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. Rom 8:23

If ALL of creation includes animals and they have been waiting for the completion of God's work in us, does that mean their 6 century wait has been futile???

My wife has become very personally attached to some of her cats and them to her, all have died, the bonding of her soul/heart to them produces the same grief in her as when one of her close relatives or friends die, ...I personally believe our loving Heavenly Father will grant her request, if she were to ask, and bring her cat(s) to her.

I imagine in Eternity, one time when she goes to worship before the Throne and Jesus knowing her heart, surprises her with one of her beloved cats.

That's the character of my Father and there is nothing too hard or impossible for my God to do.

I formed deep bonds with my pets growing up and I can only hope I'd see them again one day.
Two deepest bonds would probably have been the cat I had at age 11, and the German Shepherd that passed away the year I turned 18. That dog was my shadow. And the cat...you know how cats are, but she was attached to me in her own way. Once I left for two weeks and I'm told she spent the entire time in the window sill crying.

My current pets keep to themselves a bit more (they can't all have the same personality), but I'd want to see them again one day as well.

Animals sense things we humans can't, my brother-in-law has a dog that will start barking before he see someone, in every case those people are afraid of him.

My cat is waiting for me at the door when I come home, I've made certain not to make any noise, but she is always there, when I'm sick or recovering from an operation she comes to bed with me and nudges me with her head and will often lay down and sleep beside me when it's serious, when I've had to spend the night at the hospital my wife says she is very restless, in the morning when it's time to leave for work she will walk in front of me and lay on her back inviting me to stay and scratch her tummy.

Animals manifest devotion that is comparable if not more than human love, God is love and love is eternal, ...I personally don't think it's in His character to keep shared love separated, ...human or animal.

Many people have reported similar experiences. I don't know what to make of them.

The Hebrew Bible does use the word nephesh to describe certain animals. Not all animals, just certain ones. This word has many meanings.
