Do Christians Stand out in the way they dress?

My personal perspective is that Christians should dress how they wish, however as long as it is not distasteful to God.
Very short shorts and a revealing top is not something I would expect of someone submissive to the Lord.
Modesty is key - I think another member has outlined this.
I think nowadays, it is difficult to differentiate a Christian to someone else unless it is a religion which requires a certain garment to be worn.

I think I can understand this concerning girls since I have a daughter. She is only 4 but I have often thought about what my wife and I should allow her to wear when she gets older. So yes, I do think it is important for Christians to dress modestly to some degree both in and out of church. Also a person of the opposite sex that is very attractive can be a distraction no matter how modest they are dressed.
I can relate to this big time. Just wait until she gets to her pre-teens and you have to find something on the rack that doesn't look trashy. It's really hard, and it seems to get harder all the time. Pants run tight, shirts rise up above the belly, writing on the *censor* and the *censor*.

For what it's worth, I agree with a lot of what I read in the OP. Living in the midwest U.S., I don't see anyone trying to pull off the topless look. It may be cultural, but we all know what societal norms are where we live and when people are trying to push the envelope. At that point, I'd say it's a matter of the heart; what you're trying project and more importantly why.
