Do girls want their boyfriends to smoosh spiders for them?

My dad once told me I was going to either hurt/kill myself or someone else with my reaction to bugs...specifically spiders. Well, I've been on my own with my daughter (who doesn't like bugs either...probably my fault) for 5 years...guess who has to kill everything?? ME! I'm ok with cucarachas and other bugs but spiders still make me scream and I have a hard time even picking them up and throwing them away after I've smashed them repeatedly. I always think they're going to come back to life and jump on my face! Irrational...I know...that's why my dad feared for my life.

So if ever find a dude that will be one of his duties. Not an option.

lol, usted usa la cucaracha , es la palabra en espanol.

en ingles la cucaracha es cockroach. :lol

Wow, I am soooo glad to find that there is another who is afraid of moths. I hate moths. Loathsome creatures. :rolleyes2

I either catch or kill spiders (depending upon what's reasonable, we do have black widows), I'm not afraid of snakes and help my hubby with our 8 foot long boa constrictor.

But moths.... :couch

...and no, I'm not kidding either.

Oh you are not alone moths are the worst.

I can't stand them. They disgust me and make me feel wierd lol. I kill them usually :chair

haha I know...soy Mexicana. My daughter doesn't even know the English term so she goes around saying cucalacha (because she can't say her r's in Spanish)...it's pretty cute.

Pues, ese tambien. Pero el Dia de los Muertos es mucho mas interesante. Obviamente no creo en la idea, pero si me gusta arte y todo eso.

I hate creepy crawly spiders and as a little girl always had my dad kill spiders for me, but now whenever I have a problem with a spider my boyfriend will kill it. I like knowing that my boyfriend will protect me from scary spiders. Girls like it when a guy shows chivalry.

my wife says the same when i kill a cockroach.

Interesting... my mom always killed the bugs at home. She really takes pleasure in doing so because she really OCD about the home being pest-free. Imagine a 5' tall asian woman getting all pumped and psyched she found a roach zipping across the floor. Then she goes off taunting it while smooshing it death; "WANT SOME MORE?!?!"
That being said, I cant really handle killing bugs. It's not really the whole smooshing deal but with most bugs, when you smoosh them, they make this disturbing crushing/cracking noise I just can't handle :shame

I'm not gonna do it just because some girl asks me to. Forget about it.

I have, however, killed two brown recluses and two black widows in my garage so far this year.

That is absolutely disgusting... bleh!!
yes, indeed, they are like that, if i could take a video of them swimmimg in oil/water mix that we use as a grease trap. i would post that here.

To bring up an old topic ^-^'

I would never, and have never, expected any partner of mine to squish spiders, insects or any other sort of creepy crawly. I'd rather they were left alone or just removed from the house, i'm generally of the opinion that God's creations need to be treated with respect regardless of my own personal feelings towards them. If there's no need to squish them then they should be left unsquished. They have their place in the world, unless they're doing active harm or actually do have the potential to kill someone (where I am that's highly unlikely, so my opinion is slightly biased) then there is no harm in letting them live in the house.
