It just depends on the story line. A lot of Anime reflects Japanese folklore so you have to go in knowing that. So I look for a story line I can live with. I'll check out
lol oh yeah
I'm able to "filter" most things and I personally could probably watch Potter, but my wife and son seem very sensitive to things like that so I keep it out of the house for the most part. A short show that I can watch quickly and not expose them is all I try to do. I watch Family Guy. I enjoy the jokes I can live with and mentally filter out the offensive. If my wife or son catch me watching it, they're horrified. I see their point, but the hell I was raised in, filtering out a bad joke on Family Guy is a cinch.Well I meant do you have a problem with fantasy things in general like Harry Potter and movies and shows that involve demons.
I heard that after WWll, when the Japanese surrendered their subs, American inspectors found that even though they worked fine their engineering was bizarre by western standards.Asian cultures are quite different .having studied their martial arts its very strange to us.
Even in their car making I can see how they see differently .
When I say "could" watch Potter, I mean if I watched it and broke it down into 30 min. segments I might get through it OK. If I tried sitting through 2 hrs straight, the witchcraft would be too much.I'm able to "filter" most things and I personally could probably watch Potter, but my wife and son seem very sensitive to things like that so I keep it out of the house for the most part. If my book ever makes it to print, you'll see my ultimate view on fantasy that is worldly. Even though my story is fantasy, it ends with worldly fantasy being left to the world. Ultimately, somewhere down the line, we have to let go of all things not of the Lord. Or at least have a heart that is willing to do so if so called. You do know that it's all make believe fantasy kind of witchcraft don't you? It's not the real kind of Satanic kind of witchcraft stuff. I'm only telling you this because you actually seem mature enough to be able to tell the difference,.. then again if I'm wrong and it just isn't your cup of tea I apologize. Unless of course you mean that you would be bored by it.

Are you saying that a fantasy about Christ is as Godly as a fantasy about sex? or hell? or mass murder? Where does one draw the line? Is there no line?....I believe God gave us the ability to have an imagination, but like a computer or a gun.......the good or bad of it depends on how you use it.Umm,.. not really sure what you're trying to say here exactly but I say that fantasy is in fact from the Lord. After all,.. who gave us an imagination in the first place?

Same here ...vivid dreams.....most of the times in my dreams that I used to have....guns don't work....ammo doesn't match....gun falls apart in my hands.....one time I dropped my gun in a dream and it fell open with all kinds of wires sticking out....another time gun wouldn't shoot and opened it up ...dead batteries. Go figure. Now for the first time in my adult life I own no guns....dreams mostly stopped...was God showing me the futility of guns????? DunnoIm sure if i could make movies from,my,intense dreams ,very, vivid and can be violent .she would see the point.
Every dream you die ,watch it ?I have very often ,kill in dreams .lately meter reading routes are the thing .derelict places ,things similar to old electric routes .
Had one this morning .weird and it made no,sense .
