Do they make good movies anymore??

Good morning,

I stayed up late tonight and watched a movie on Netflix called "The Apostle Peter and the Last Supper." I don't know if it was the friendly face of Bruce Marchiano, who was playing Jesus, or if I was just in an emotional mood tonight, but I was brought to tears on a few occasions. Some of the acting was a little strange, but it was packed with Scriptures. I'm sure you'll see some inconsistencies in timing and context, but what movie has portrayed Biblical stories perfectly. The Passion of the Christ was far superior in its acting and production, but for a late night review in a lot of Scripture, I'd recommend The Apostle Peter and the Last Supper.

One of the best movies I've seen in a long time is Warrior. It's a strange mix of drama and mixed martial arts, but the focus is on the three main characters with not much fighting. It runs the gamut of emotions of forgiveness, repentance, acceptance and the fallibility of humans. Nick Nolte was brilliant in it. Good to see him back in form.
oh there is minimal swearing in it too which makes a nice change these days.
For my taste id give it a rating of:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup / 5
