Do you believe that Generation Z is bad, whether morally or generally?

Thank you for your response. I think the 4th part applies to me the most. Why? Because I always feel that I am in a state of stagnation thanks to my technology addiction and just general laziness.

A lot of people battle with the latter, even well into much later in life, so it's not uncommon. But ask God to help you break it as a consistent pattern in your life.

Interesting how when people, for the most part, have plenty that is when things really go south quickly vs when people have to tighten their belts. It's an example of how entitlement mentality degrades society.
If we look at the Silent Generation we have the great depression and world War 1. Then we had ww2 and the "Great generation" and the passing of the new deal. The baby boom afterwards.and the upswing of American Capitalism. Generation x came in at the end of the 70s and start of the 80s and experienced both the oil crisis and the Regan boom. My group the Millenials saw the birth of the internet and the crash of the housing market. Gen z have the wide adoption of the internet and the rise of constant online. Alpha is looking at recession. The ecconomic fall started during the millennial cycle and distraction has stayed theough all of Gen z. Alpha is going to get the brunt.

I believe generation Z is the last generation, and correlates with second Timothy chapter 3. I'm not judging anyone. I believe majority of generation z are bad news. I'm optimistic few have integrity. I'm from generation X, and don't like many of them.
Proverbs 30;12. . There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet not washed from their filth. I even don't like my own generation.

I'm humble person. I don't think I'm better than others. It's their actions and words that anger me. Many people turned their backs on God. Either playing church or not studying the bible and repent.
Last few jobs I worked back in 2012. Was filed with gossip and slander. Some of them lied to my face. Many of them told Lies about me. Spread rumors.
Few tried to get me fired. I wouldn't walk across the street with any of them. Let alone my own community.
I mind my own business and keep to myself. I don't have friends. I even avoid my neighbors.
In my opinion. Theirs no one worth knowing. Except for the body of christ and Jesus. Integrity is important . Character is important. I'm sorry. In most people today, I don't see it.
Psalm chapter 25:1. Judge me, o, Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity; I have trusted also in the Lord; 26:4. I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go with dissemble. 26:5. I have hated the congregation of evil doers, and will not sit with the wicked.
I'm not judging anyone. The world is getting more evil. Integrity is very hard to find. We have friend in Jesus, and those who love and serve God.

Not bad. Sometimes I'm annoyed with the way they embrace cancel culture though. Back in my day (I'm 30), the main rule of the internet was "don't like? hit the back button". Now these kids gotta "call out" everything that they don't like in media and other people's arts, often to the point of ruining lives.

I mean, I DON'T like Homestuck, because it has things that are objectionable. (Even though I started reading it in Oct-Nov. 2021 to Jan. 2022. 💀)

you don't have to like stuff, but I'm assuming you don't go around harassing the creator of the comic or people who read it

The former, yes. The latter... Well... I did make homophobic ship tier list trashing on gay ships in their subreddit and stuff, heck, I made a whole subreddit hating a ship that's gay. I did that from Sept. 2022 to January this year.

Ok. I guess the main thing to ask yourself is, how will this change people's minds and lead them to the truth?

I believe this is a symptom of wide spread internet adoption. I have noticed this in the Fandom as well. 15 to 20 years ago everything in both the internet and Fandom was small and people had to knowledgeable and work with what they had. Drama happened, but not at the scale. Now that it's more user friendly and more people ate involved it's more hostile to get clout.

Met some good ones, met some bad ones. There is, sadly, a tendency for Christianity in the United States to show a decrease from one generation to the next, so I can nonetheless see why Christians have some generational concerns.

That said, I'm glad that more and more people are starting to realize that Gen Z is the young generation, and that my generation (Millennials) aren't teenagers anymore. The oldest Millennials are already in their 40s (I'm going to be 39 in November, God willing), and none are younger than 26. Pew Research has the birth age range at 1981-1996. Gen Z is 1997-2012.

Interest ,if you want to learn it

Imagine a time before the internet and ,even the late 80s will do.i bet adults in church watched more football then they spent time in the bible or in church ,fully paying attention.

We're still teenagers at heart. I still play Halo 2 from time to time. Although I must confess, it is nice of Gen Z to take some of the spotlight off of us Millennials. Lol.

I don't think Gen Z is bad (See my signature). Funny to think someone said that thousands of years ago.

I think Gen Z is more visible than any previous generation due to the internet. And so they draw more criticism than they deserve. Because in general negative things said have a much greater impact than positive things.

Remember there's a tiny bit of projection in every criticism. If an older generation is hating on you for something, consider the source. Maybe they're projecting on you some bitterness or insecurity from their own upbringing.
I saw it, and ngl it is a bit funny. Was it always the older generation that hated the younger generation?

As a Gen Z myself, I sometimes search 'why Generation Z is bad' or something and wondered what makes us hated by the older generation, morally and generally. I would like to read it from you.
All generations are bad because we come short of the glory of God and need salvation. That said, I noticed there are revivals and baptisms galore and guess which generation is primarily involved? You guessed it! These college age youth are sick of the craziness going on these days. As a matter of fact, there are so many that this reminds me back in the late 60's early 70's when the "Jesus movement" came about that affected us boomers. The political and moral climate is virtually the same, but I see things getting worse each time. It's like the biblical labor pains that get more and more intense each time. That said, no wonder they made the movie "Jesus Revolution". I lived that then and I am starting to see it again. I am thanking God for these revivals because one day it will be the last one before the end of history as we know it. For those saved, that's a good thing, of course.
