Let's now invite one of us from the congregation to lead us in a season of Praise and Worship. Our singers are not present today....the players are. You are chosen to sing...and the band must accompany your songs. Can you do it? Be honest? Or would you defile and pollute our music??? :toofunny reba;) come lead us:)

Nope I cant carry a tune in a radio :) This is my verse for worship

Psa_98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and ____ praise.

I have a horrible singing voice. So bad in fact that in high school choir teacher told me to lip synch and she would give me the fine art credit to graduate.

That's a good one. I've known guys like that. Bet you have a better voice than you think, though. I didn't have the gift of a singing voice until I became a Christian, strange as that may sound.

You'd be useful somewhere. You can attempt playing a guitar - at least. My snoring aunt has a dreadful voice. I'd prefer that of a toad to hers

Did God modify your voice? Do you sing? What is your favorite singing key? What register?

I don't know what God did. My voice didn't change, I could just sing, on key and blend with the other parts, which I don't believe I was able to do before. ('Course, I hadn't tried since high school, when I was bad at it -- I just became a "shower singer"). I'm a bass and sing in the church choir.

faeriecat: You guys have good singing in church?

Yeah, our choir is quite good, though a little light on the male voices some sundays. We do 4 and 5 part harmonies regularly. This is first service, which is labeled "traditional". Second service, labeled "modern", has a rock band. And as much as I like metal music, I don't actually care for the rock band we have so I go to first service. Guess that's just how it works some times.

We have a great men's Gospel group, where I sing bass.

Yes, well on here there are some other hard rock women, too.

But it should be possible to appreciate both: the hard rock and the traditional.

Interesting. But you may have a problem with your bassguitarist
