Do you REALLY want to KNOW?

There is MUCH scriptural evidence that 'ignorance' MAY be 'BETTER' than KNOWLEDGE. For the MORE we learn, the MORE responsible we are HELD to that which has been REVEALED.

So, do you REALLY want to KNOW the TRUTH. Or, just the VERY BASICS and therefore NOT be LIABLE for the responsibility of those that DO KNOW a 'DEEPER TRUTH'?

I ask this question because as I 'look' around me, I SEE MANY that appear to be OBLIVIOUS to The TRUTH and live in a 'kind of FANTASY WORLD' instead. They accept and absorb WHATEVER the likes of 'Benni Hindi' Roberts, Myers, etc...... throw at them that SOUNDS 'good' and RUN with it 'as IF' it IS TRUTH. Disregarding scripture and seeking NOT the TRUTH through The Spirit. And for these I MUST wonder; WHAT 'kind' of TRUTH are these TRULY 'seeking'?

There ARE those that will INSIST that Jesus Christ died for EVERYBODY and ALL it takes to accept this is to SAY that Christ IS Their Savior. Funny, EVERYTHING offered by God, even that offer through His Son IS Conditional. EVERYTHING. NOTHING has changed so far as OUR responsibility. I am NOT speaking of WORKS, for we KNOW that we CANNOT 'work' our way to Salvation. But there IS something that IS paramount to receiving Salvation; LOVE. For without an UNDERSTANDING of it there is NOTHING that we are ABLE to DO that is possibly PLEASING to God. NOTHING. And THROUGH LOVE we ARE able to GIVE that which it TAKES in order to be ACCEPTABLE to God.

But there ARE those that would argue this. My reply, no Spirit THERE. Or if there IS spirit, it is CERTAINLY NOT The Holy Spirit. These follow a 'god of this world'. And instead of even CONSIDERING the TRUTH, would rather follow a 'lie that is appealing to their carnality'. Religion? Absolutely. But a 'false religion' that can lead NO WHERE but 'weeping and the gnashing of teeth'. Yeah, livin' it UP right NOW. But woe to those that refuse to accept The TRUTH of that which HAS been offered and accept INSTEAD that which is PLEASING to their ears and hearts. SELF my friends WILL lead to NOTHING other than SELF DESTRUCTION. Without the ability to LOVE God ABOVE all else and thy neighbor AS thyself, one is STUCK in the flesh which WILL be 'burnt away' upon judgement.

So, do you REALLY want to KNOW the Truth? Or would you RATHER remain BLISSFULLY IGNORANT?

Luke 12:47-48a
And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. [48] But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few.

The "ignorant" may only be beaten with a few stripes, but they are still beaten. For me it is better to know the will of God and do the will of God. They you will receive the blessing of God.

Funny you should ask. As Christ has shown through example, the BLIND can be 'healed' through The Spirit. Those that are UNABLE to see CAN, with the 'changing of their hearts', BECOME able to see and CLEARLY.

But, those that CHOOSE to remain 'blinded' by the flesh will be condemned to ONLY understanding IT, and then ONLY in a 'limited' fashion pertaining to 'themselves'.
