do you think homosexuals should be allowed to marry?

I can assure you I do know that gay marriage will be accepted nationwide sooner or later. But in the meantime I'll use the rights I have to oppose gay marriage.

ok, but maybe you should instead try to learn from it and accept it's culture as opposed to fighting it :)

I believe the bible that all these things must happen but that's no reason that I should hurry it along. The future is in your hands and what you do with it is up to you.
Out of curiousity though since we're on the subject of marriage:
At what age do you really feel is a good age for consent to marry? And at what age sexual consent?
I'm just curious and won't reply to your answer one way or another.

as far as sexual consent, I think it depends on the individual, some may be mature enough when they're 14, or that person may never be mature enough to make such a disition. as for proper age to marry, I'd say a person should be 25+ so they are able to experience life as an adult and a single for a while

So are you saying a Christian should just forget God’s standards and commandments and accept, condone, and tolerate sin?...If that is what you are asking then I am here to inform you that that will never happen. Christians seek to serve and honor God, not man. Christians should be loving toward homosexuals and pray for their salvation, and that the Holy Spirit will help those struggling with homosexuality to overcome that sin but never accept, condone, or tolerate it.

There is nothing wrong with homosexuality, if you thinkgod is so petit that he would care how sombody chooses to live their life, then maybe you should reconsider how loving you think this god is.

"Active promotion of sinful behavior will not be permitted. This includes promotion of homosexual behavior."

Just so ya know.

I'm not trying to promote it, I am just saying, a person has the right to live life the way they so choose

My advice to you would be to study God's Word to find out his thoughts on homosexuality and other sins, and pray for those that are bound by this sin so that they can overcome it in order to glorify God with their lives today.

It is not a sin if you interperate the bible correctly, allow others to live how they wish.

According to you there is nothing wrong with homosexuality but the Bible is clear about what God attended for man and women.

Really...Then explain the following verses exegetically:

Leviticus 18:22:
You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10:
9Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,

10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Then there will be posts of biblical doctrine to which there will be a rebuttal claiming the bible is old or some such thing and it all ends with someone wanting the last word and the whole thing gets tiresome and dies.

Why are we using the Christian Bible to enforce rules upon the Nation of the Free? Where we can be any religion.

AS you said earlier potluck, Marriage isn't a right, It is a privlege.

If it is a privlage, and it is NOT being afforded to someone because of their religion, than Legally, the Government can have no part in it (besides the obvious making sure no one is getting killed or whatnot) So then, that would stop all the tax benifits etc that married individuals have.

I do not agree that it should be marriage, Because, marriage is crhstian. However a similar thing, such as a Civil union, which still is afforded the same government perks, would be fair.

And what exactly DID God intend for man and woman, Nocturnal?

Does this have anything to do with one's sexual orientation, Nocturnal? Please explain.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10:

I love the 'effeminate' abomination. Does this refer to a man having long hair? If not, what DOES this mean, Nocturnal? Make something up if you need to.

10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Oh dear, that's SO MANY of us! Kind of narrows down the list of the saved, doesn't it?
