Does God trully offend?

I have heard some Chrsitians say: God offended me, HE did this to me and did that to me. I'm talking about '''Christians''''. Can God offend a Christian? I don't buy that idea. What do you think?

Only someone who is overly rooted in their own pride could be offended by anything God would do.

I don't look as God offending me, I look it at as God maybe teaching me a lesson. God always has a reason.
