Could immorality really pay? Any advantage at all?

Well, while you are on this earth you might think it pays or not care. You might have mansion, many cars and alot of money in the bank but when you die you will pay a huge price.

Is any immorality good?
Well, that depends, too. People often aren't in agreement of what is immoral.
So what is immoral to some may be morally desirable or acceptable to others.
And sometimes things get interesting because they are immoral. Sometimes things are considered immoral, but are vicitmless crimes, so the question is what harm the "immoral" act would do.

I guess we need to study scripture and see what is expected of us as a Christian.

In what way? I know a transvestite who dances in Vegas. Makes upwards to $1,000 a night. Is that the kind of pay you're talking about?

If not, than there's really no advantage to being immoral.
.

Hmm.. Well...
You can get a STD
You can ruin a marriage
You can trade it for true love and then end up grief stricken and alone
You can get pregnant with a baby you can't afford and the Baby Daddy gets up and leaves you (and his kid)

Not just about monetary value - we are talking about advantages

Psalm 37:16-19
Amplified Bible (AMP)

16 Better is the little that the [uncompromisingly] righteous have than the abundance [of possessions] of many who are wrong and wicked.

17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the [consistently] righteous.

18 The Lord knows the days of the upright and blameless, and their heritage will abide forever.

19 They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil; and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

When one lacks that of what God deems as being morality than no, immorality never pays, but defiles and brings one into Gods judgement.

Mar 7:14 And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:
Mar 7:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
Mar 7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
Mar 7:17 And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
Mar 7:18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
Mar 7:19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
Mar 7:20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
Mar 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Mar 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
Mar 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Yes and no. Yes because you can gain the whole world, but no because you will end up losing your own soul.

Matthew 16:26
That is a very important verse.Gaining the whole world and losing your soul is a tragedy.Their are consequences to the bad choices we make in this world.

Not just about monetary value - we are talking about advantages

There are countless advantages for the nonbeliever, but for the true born again Christian, there are no advantages in breaking the commandments.
.

There are no advantages at all. God is seeking what is best for us. He puts rules in the Bible to protect us, as well as others. It is always better to obey God.

Thanks a lot. The last two posts are like siamese twins. So straightforward and great
