Methodologies of reaping, notwithstanding, God reaps.
Death is however one of the more difficult things to come to grips with, theologically. I don't think God ever had any intentions of leaving anyone in a subjective wet dust pile here on earth, indefinitely.
There have been a lot of books written in the christian arena about why bad things happen to good people. Peter may not have been crucified upside down and Paul may not have had his head cut off by a Roman sword if they both had kept their mouths shut, and would have, perhaps, lived just a few short years longer, maybe. But they laid down their lives to speak and act freely in our behalves, thankfully, as did Jesus, who didn't last very long when He did so. Hard to imagine that a physical Ministration that lasted some 3 1/2 years had such effects on the world.
2000 years of after effect shock waves still rippling through the system.
