Anyone can make anything a religion. That doesn't mean it's true. People going door to door would be others educating others on scientific ideas.

Isn't it taught in the schools? Why would you take a school subject and go door to door with it? Must have just been a couple of guys who got frustrated by the lack of alternative view or something, can't see it really catching on.

The same goes for the public schools here in New Zealand. As far as I'm aware thats fairly normal throughout most of the western world...

LOL australias the odd one out. We get taugh scripture but because there are only few teachers of scripture some schools dont get it. (this is in the public school) it is also an elective. its not just christian though its a study and comparison of all religions. I've even met one scripture teacher that was an athiest :D

I suppose were blessed to hear both sides :D

:wink: Simply because some teachers are telling the students
the truth about evolution now,and because students can read books
and use the internet and clearly conclude for themselves that
evolution is wrong. It's easy,amen.

Yes, you are right. Many public schools do teach the bible. However, there is a difference between TEACH and PREACH. And besides, all of those courses are not required courses.

Why not go check into it and ask questions?
Every small town and every city has different ways of doing
things,and many of them still allow prayer in school.
Little children even know this. Religion is here to stay 4/ever.
Granted,the pagan religions are the most widely accepted,yet
religion itself is not going anywhere. Where will atheism fit in?

The teacher used to make us hold hands and pray everyday before lunch, and I thought it was the greatest thing in the world (go figure). Regardless, it is ILLEGAL. And little children only know what they're told. I asked my 6 year old brother why he believes in God, and he told me because my parents told him that God exists. And, out of the 9 public schools I've been to in the past 11 years, Brandywine Elem. was the only place where God was even mentioned.

so whatever. Atheism will soon be outlawed and called a hate crime.
Many people are already bringing it up as you already probably know.
Atheism will not be allowed to be promoted,and if a person is caught
doing it,they will be punished by law,amen.
Atheism is called a hate crime,and intolerant of the religious views and
opinions of others. The only thing you can claim that will be accepted is
TOE and thats it. Atheism is on the way to becoming extinct.
Thats why your so angry isn't it? You can't have global peace,and inter-
