Dreams you wish you never woke up from

Makes a lot of sense. I do agree that there is a lot of history, throughout the whole Bible, but i believe there is also a lot of things that the Body of Christ has access to in there as well. Otherwise, in Timothy, it would not have said that the Bible was given by inspiration of God, and useful for teaching us what is true, and makes us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong, and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work. The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword.....
im not denying that but the bible is also very cultural in the context of each story. we must know that and always take that into consideration. we tend to read bible as if it was just yesterday the cross occurred. when it was 2000 years ago and basically a foreign culture that had the honors penning it.

Agreed. Because if you don't know the context, or the situation why it was written, things can get misunderstood.

Death and not dying, yikes that sounds horrifying.

im used to it. I have died in dreams before and that used to bother me as a boy. but in my teens that changed as so when I have that dream I don't die, I will regenerate.

The most sucky dream is when i want to shout or scream but cannot. Its disturbing.
I've had that in real life a couple of times, it's called sleep paralysis. (In real life, not when it happens in dreams.)

And then there are those dreams where you're trying to run from something or someone, but you can just barely move.

I usually dream about eating breakfast, shower, shaving, driving to work, performing my morning duties at work....and then I wake up and do it for real.

I have never had those. my dreams are very vivid and usually use real locations or ones that are based on locations but mixed with odd ball things. the best ones are the restaurant, gas station with the giant clock(digital) on I-95 and when I was a kid that was always a regular and I was lost and would find that and know I was close to home. I have a few to share of those types

I may get that if I have something important going on the next day. I've had dreams about taking tests or job interviews.

Ever have a dream so good you wish you never woke up from it?
No, but I have had MANY that I was so uncomfortable with, I realized I was dreaming and intentionally made myself wake up.

And it is not pleasant - I had one just a few nights ago, I KNEW, suddenly, that I was dreaming and I said, "Ok, I've GOT to wake up"... it seemed like about ten seconds and I manage to awaken. It's odd, as soon as I know I am dreaming, I feel trapped and want NOTHING more than to wake up!

IT was different when I was young. The FIRST time I realized I was dreaming, I was 13. I dreamt that I was at my mom's place of work during the day. My mom, in the dream, told me to get to school -so I headed outside and thougth, "Hey, school let out last week - Im DREAMING! I'm going back inside and trash her office, since I'm dreaming!"

Well, as I grabbed the door knob, I woke up - and hated that I awoke!

Now, today, I FIGHT to awaken.

Odd, huh?

I used to have dreams like that. I had a dream of a demon pulling me through the floor one and i could not scream or even say the Name of Jesus. But that was a long time ago and i think (if i remember right) God let me know that i was feeling as if i had no voice in things. Like maybe i didn't matter.
