Bible Study Enoch's books

Why aren't Enoch's books in the bible?

Many Believers have asked that question. I have been a student of Enoch and a believer that when it was not Canonized, that was a huge error and sin on the Committee that presided over the selections. Enoch was a very special man of Elohim. He was so special that he did not die like the rest of us, Yahweh "took him". His Words are inspired by the Almighty!!!!!!!!!!

Since Enoch lived so long ago, before the flood, who could have any of his writings.
Whoever wrote anything by Enoch was not Enoch himself.
Since Enoch may very well pre-date 3000 BC, it is highly unlikely anything written in the book actually quotes Enoch.
Though the book may contain some truth, it was hardly written by Enoch.

John 20:30 Many other signs therefore did Jesus in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 but these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye may have life in his name.
Isn't this enough? The sufficiency of the Bible is enough to come to believe that Jesus is the Christ....! Therefore it is not relevant for anything else to be written...! Of course then these scholars wouldn't know what to do with themselves?

The size of the nephillum, and what Genesis records are in contradiction. A problem.which is true? Enoch or the book of Genesis.

I use to have the book online, but got a new computer a couple years ago and need to download it again. Have you ever read the book of Enoch as when you do you can see that it was written by him or at least he transcribed it to someone who could write if he couldn't as he spoke of himself in the first person.

Enoch being the seventh from Adam and the Great Great Grandfather of Noah was possibly the first prophet and lived to be 365 years old. He walked with God and like many of the later prophets he was given visions of the end of days as he prophesied of them. Just because he was before Noah does not mean that even Noah may have had his writings or could be that after so many years, like the dead sea scrolls, may have been found especially since we have those writings today as well as all the books of the Bible.

I believe it was the skeptics that kept it out of the canon because it reveals so much prophecy as even Jude quoted from Enoch's writings in Jude 1:14, 15. It should have been added and worth the while to read it.

I very much concur with this.
Jesus in his ministry would often refer to Enoch's writings.
This is a neat site to peruse some cross comparisons in the book of Enoch with similarities to Jesus' teachings.

You believe God would allow skeptics to control his word to us?

Only by worldly science was writing already around at the time of Enoch.

Skeptic in the sense that there is much controversy over the book so I would think maybe that is why it was never added even though it should have been added.
Does any book out to contradict itself in the bible?

Jude and Enoch do on the amounts of saints to return and whether to convict or judge men

I was only explaining to Allen Wynne what I meant by skeptic. I don't believe any books in the Bible are contradictory to the Bible and I can only speculate on why the book of Enoch was not added. I wouldn't say Enoch or Jude convicted or judged any man, but gave warning to what happens when man walks in disobedience of Gods commands.

Enoch says that the Lord Will return with a million angels to convict men, jude says the Lord will judge with thousands of His saints.which is in the bible?

There's a sacred texts website that carries an unimaginable supply of resources that can keep the bookworm busy for years. They have the Book of Enoch on their site. Linked
I don't know why Enoch's writings weren't considered worthy of the canon.

Off topic, Doug, what is that pictured in your profile image? Thanks. :)
