Twenty years after Abortions became legal, the number of illegitimate babies were cut in half as was crime.

This correlation with the abortion process beginning in 1972 with Roe Vs Wade is the only thing that seems to qualify as a cause that could make a difference, since poverty has never been correlated with crime, but Single Mothers has:

What we can see from the charts is that poverty Vs Crime before Welfare was low.
Crime actually rose with Single Mothers and Welfare, which has had the effect of reducing poverty,

I think the main reason Ehtics and morality has developed so well is becaus of the more adapted brain us humans have that allows us to think with rationality and reason. Because of this and our instinctual behavior that causes us to to be more group minded we are able to construct complex social behavior.

What happned in Germany was the Communists bagan organizing but Facism beat them to the punch.
