Genesis 14 God speaks to the Israelites and tells them they will not enter Canaan in v33 He says your sons will shepherd for 40 years because of your unfaithfulness, essentially for their unbelief of not believing God would deliver their enemies into their hands. they saw God in a pillar of light, saw Him part the Red Sea and they still were unfaithful. they refused to believe God would help them fight their battles.
it got me to thinking about the things He could not do through me and i couldn’t think of anything lol,
yet do we absolutely 100% believe "we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me? with an emphasis on all. :) curious as to your thoughts?

That is one of my favorite verses. I am reminded of it often, especially when facing a difficult challenge (and there are plenty!) I think it means that we can do all things required of us because we have Christ's strength within us.

Faith is the key. I don't believe I can do all things that I want to do. BUT - as long as I continue to walk by faith, all that I do will be through Christ.

Paul discusses the 'ALL' things...and he is saying he is able to go forward in many different circumstances through which he finds himself. 'ALL' must be ....ALL THINGS through CHRIST!

  • Philippians 4:11-13

11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am,
    therewith to be content.

12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound:
every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry,
both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. KJV

Amen...too often people look for the blessings. To know how to be abased, be hungry, and suffer need is where the testing comes in. Those hill tops are nice, but the growth takes place in the valleys.
