Ha, Johnny Weaver and Haystack Calhoun vs the Bolo's on a b&w TV with rabbit ears , those guys really looked like they were killing each other to a 10 yr old and I lived for the day they got a mask off of one of those dirty Bolo's and those dirty refs just wouldn't pay attention ''hey ref, they're hiding some kind of weapon in their mask and trunks'' .. And my grandma chewed redman tobacco and spit in a Luizianne coffee can and would scream at the TV from the edge of her settee

Before my time but one day I watched I think it was the Gold Rush with Charley Chaplain. I was by myself and started laughing ''entire cabin scene'' it kept getting funnier , I was in the floor crying I laughed so much, I never figured a silent movie was worth watching .. Here's part of it ..

I went to one of the matches when I lived in Virginia, MN about 1968. Back then the 'wrestling' had a more local appeal instead of the national following of today.....

Do you remember a wrestler named "Gorgeous George"? He had wavy blond hair in the 50s!
