First Sabbath Laws

Pope Gregory and Paganism.

The attitude of the Catholic Church toward paganism is best summed up by Pope Gregory the Great, in his words to a missionary: “You must not interfere with any traditional belief or religious observance that can be harmonized with Christianity.”

Pope Gregory 540 – 12 March 604.

If you are going to claim a quote then you need to give a reference to the document it cam from.
Otherwise it's worthless.

As far as I know, there were no Sunday Sabbath laws until then.

As far as I know there are no Sunday Sabbath laws then or now.
The Sabbath is Jewish and is a Saturday.

Pope John Paul II
We move from the "Sabbath" to the "first day after the Sabbath", from the seventh day to the first day: the dies Domini becomes the dies Christi! (Apostolic Letter, Dies Domini, Pope John Paul II, 1998 – para 18).

As far as I know, anything outside of the scriptures does not save anyone.

What is in the scriptures is the laying down of the life of Jesus Christ, because anything else means we still die in our sins. ( sin is unbelief in Jesus Christ.)

Through believing in Christ laying HIs life down and taking it again, we can take our life too, by first losing it, to find it again. ( as Christ did)

Then we can lay our lives down for others, as we layed our life down and found it again, far up high away from the talk that profits/saves nobody, of earthly devilish wisdom

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Your reply has NOTHING to do with my post.

Your reply has NOTHING to do with my post.
Your post ( divisional doctrine) has nothing to do with this ONLY to be known. ( Christ crucified, no division in Christ.)

1 Corinthians 1:13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Aah! Very true, perhaps I might have been able to discern that if I had read it more carefully, sorry Ram.
Christ is Lord even of the Sabbath day, see this law of Christ/first Sabbath/Sunday laws.

Matthew 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
