Why does someone from Argentina go across the north pole to get to Australia?
Why not just a straight line around the tip of Africa and straight on to Argentina?
Only a flat earth shows the direct route, and it is the route that the world uses.

Draw a straight line from one to the other?
Can you imagine any other way as being quicker?
Why is your straight line going over the north pole?

Your straight line is going around Africa.
