You haven't even used the bible to support a flat earth.
You haven't read and understood Job 38.
Go get someone to give you a Bible study on this chapter, then we'll continue.
I shouldn't have to explain it to you.

The problem with you is this...you make a claim...people disagree with you...and your response is "Go get someone to give you a Bible study on this chapter".

I'm talking to people who already know the answers and are just looking to argue for arguments sake.
In 8 years, that's all I've ever gotten out of this forum any way.
If someone has a problem interpreting Job 38, they should say which passages don't make sense to support a flat earth, then we can start from there.
But no one, especially in a pro science forum, wants to admit that I might be right, so they throw the onus on me to prove everything.
Sorry, it's the other way around.
I say the earth is flat, I am currently using Job 38 to justify that, though I have many more passages to go to if I have to, and no pro science people have any answers.
There are lots of other forums where you can show off your knowledge of the world, and lots of threads on this forum as well.
But this thread is not one of them.

As to Job 38....you basically say "If someone has a problem interpreting Job 38, they should say which passages don't make sense to support a flat earth, then we can start from there.".....It's your job to explain why Job 38 supports a flat earth.
For the record...I just read Job 38 again...the whole chapter...flat wasn't even mentioned in the 41 verses.

Why would a person who has "christian yes" below their picture say such a thing?
Most people find the Big Dipper then use the 2 stars in the end of the dipper as a pointer...and they point to the North Star.
Here's another way...
The North Star is pretty easy to find. Look North. Polaris, AKA the North Stars altitude above the horizon is pretty close to the latitude of where you live. If you lived in Miami Beach Florida the star would be 25 degrees above the horizon. If you live in Nuuk Greenland it would be 64 deg above the horizon. If you lived in Bolgota Columbia it would be 4 deg above the horizon. If you live below the equator it is not visible. If you live at the north pole...look straight up.
As you can see the North Star would not work like that on a flat earth. I've asked you to explain why the further south you go the lower the star is in the sky.
You presented me with a long hallway....
"If you look down a hallway, a very long hallway, it would appear to get smaller and smaller until it disappeared.

"A light in the ceiling of a long hallway will not do that. Also, if I set up a telescope at the end of the long hallway I'll bring the light back into view....not so with the N. star. You'll need another example."....you never replied back.

When I find it, what should I do? Walk South...just kidding....you should notice that as time moves on that night the stars will rotate around the north star just like the photo shows. You should notice the north star doesn't move across the sky the way Orion or the Pleiades do.
The north star doesn't rise or set. In the morning you can't see it because the sunlight washes it out.
You then asked "Am I right so far?" That answer would be no. Do you have a flat earth explanation?
That verse would apply to earth in any shape....sphere, flat, pyramid.
Can you show me where the cornerstones are? How many are required for a flat earth.

Are you saying this isn't figurative speech? The bible often uses figurative speech.
John 10:10 says...So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.....is Jesus flat, made of wood and hangs on hinges? Jesus also mentions sheep. Are you a sheep walking around saying baaaaa?

12 He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; He will collect the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
Can you present a map of the flat earth and point out the literal 4 corners?
You need to demonstrate scientifically with flat earth science why the verses above are not used in a figurative sense.
You can start with a footstool shaped earth with 4 corners containing all the scattered of Judah.

Airplanes and for example rifle shooters always have to take into account the curve of the earth no matter where they live. One argument against flat earth..
The Bible talks alot about the sun, the moon and the stars.
Also that there are more than one heaven. Talks about three heavens.
The atmosphere, the universe and the last heaven where God lives.

What? Who? Where? Me?! I am a rifle shooter and am not following what you are saying. I've shot rifles from sea level to up around 14K feet all around the states. I can't remember compensating for the curve of the earth.

Now I've been through this and Job does make a good case for a flat earth. But if you watch enough flat earth videos they can make a good case for flat earth too. Enough to make a guy wonder. So who can know for sure?
And you're right, we have to stick to the book of truth and from a spiritual perspective because it's who we are to look closer. Look closer. What do you see? My spiritual eyes fail me and IDK if the flat visions or spherical ones are conjured by me or not. The Lord is silent on this subject to me. So what now?
If in the mouth of two or three witnesses the truth is established, is true and it is because scripture says so...who's talking about it? Forget the Air Force pilots and Naval Aviators, they could be in on it with the government to confuse and distract people for nefarious purposes. So we're left with other Brothers and Sisters in Christ and their testimonies.
Think back to all of the testimonies that you have ever heard. How many described being taken up and being over the earth, with Jesus or Angels, whichever. Over the years I bet I've heard at least 10 testimonies from different people (maybe 15?) where they mention being above the earth. ...and you know something? I can't recall any of them referencing if it is flat or round.
But seeing as though we've all been taught that it is round, I would think that it would be a big thing to notice that earth is flat and square or whatever and so someone should have mentioned that in testimony if it were so! But none have. So it's reasonable to assume that since nothing was out of the ordinary with the shape of the earth...that it prolly is round!
If & when I ever get taken up, I'll try to remember to make it a point to look at earth and see for myself and then come share the news.
This lack of testimony is the biggest chink in the flat earther's position I think.

Lol. Ok. I was hoping that you wouldn't bring up bullet drop so that's good. Bullet drop at distance is all about gravity so that would be a change of subject Lol!
Although to be fair (lol) the longest big game shot I ever made was on a decent Mule Deer and only about 80 yards. Why shoot at 1000 yards and need a trig degree & computer to sight in? Just get closer lol!
