Four Things God Wants You to Know

Are you in debt?

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;..."

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Why is there "none righteous"?

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Death Alone Can Pay your Debt

The Bible says, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and DEATH BY SIN; and so DEATH passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" Romans 5:12.

The Bible also says, "For the WAGES of sin is DEATH;" Romans 6:23a. Therefore because of your sin, you must receive the wages, or payment due for it, which is DEATH. But this death is more than just physical death.

You will be paying the debt for sin all through eternity! The Bible says, "And DEATH and hell were cast into the LAKE OF FIRE. This is the SECOND DEATH." Revelation 20:14. So once you die, the payment has only just started!. You will burn forever, as never ending payment for YOUR DEBT of sin.

Jesus has already paid your debt! :D

The Bible says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US." Romans 5:8.

It was YOUR DEBT. YOU were responsible for its payment. But JESUS CHRIST died on the cross and shed HIS BLOOD to pay for YOUR DEBT of sin! The Bible says, "In whom we have redemption THROUGH HIS BLOOD, even the forgiveness of sins:" Colossians 1:14. Out of His pure love and mercy JESUS PAID IT ALL! Just before He died He said so. "IT IS FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." John 19:30b.

But Jesus Christ didn't stay dead! He arose, proving He was God, and that HIS PAYMENT for YOUR DEBT of sin, was GOOD FOR ALL OF ETERNITY! The Bible says, "Wherefore HE is able also to save them TO THE UTTERMOST that come unto God by him, seeing HE EVER LIVETH to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25.

We must receive God's full pardon for our sins.

Jesus Christ died to pay the DEBT OF SIN for everyone, but not everyone has claimed the payment. Have YOU?

You claim HIS PAYMENT for YOUR DEBT by faith. Faith is COMPLETE trust in someone. In order to be saved from having to pay your own debt, by burning forever in the lake of fire, you must "completely trust Jesus Christ and the payment HE MADE on the cross.

The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever BELIEVETH IN HIM should not perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE." John 3:16. If you believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ paid for YOUR DEBT OF SIN, and can by Himself, get you to heaven, what you need to do is ask Jesus Christ to save you. The Bible says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED." Romans 10:13.

Get out of debt today!

Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Paid in full! Do you want salvation? Read the other tracts I posted in this thread and pray that God will open your eyes.

Praying for the lost,

His Love; His Gift; His Son
Charles Spurgeon

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Of all the stars in the sky, the polestar is the most useful to the mariner. This text is a polestar, for it has guided more souls to salvation than any other Scripture. It is among promises what the Great Bear is among constellations.

Several words in it shine with peculiar brilliance. Here we have God's love with a "so" to it, which marks its measureless greatness. Then we have God's gift in all its freeness and greatness. This also is God's Son, that unique and priceless gift of a love which could never fully show itself till heaven's Only-begotten had been sent to live and die for men. These three points are full of light.

Then there is the simple requirement of believing, which graciously points to a way of salvation suitable for guilty men. This is backed by a wide description--"whosoever believeth in him."

Many have found room in "whosoever" who would have felt themselves shut out by a narrower word. Then comes the great promise, that believers in Jesus shall not perish but have everlasting life. This is cheering to every man who feels that he is ready to perish and that he cannot save himself. We believe in the Lord Jesus, and we have eternal life.

All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. And that includes the 10 commandments.

To Love God with all your heart . And love your neighbor as yourself.

Jesus came to fulfill the law not abolish it.

The Ten Commandments as seen through the two higher NT comandments as given by Jesus.

Luk 18:20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

If you apply love to these commandments you will not break them.

If you love God you will not commit adultry against Him
If you love your spouse you will not commit adultry against them.

And you can do this with every one of the ten commandmets. There is also a deeper spiritual applicaton to each of the ten commandments as well as the literal application.

If we apply the Love of God which was given us in the two greater commandments by Jesus Himself then we can see how all the law and prophets hang on those two commandments and how Jesus did truly filfill them as well as applying this love to all the laws of the old testiment. They are fulfilled. Because of Jesus Christ .

How many are mine iniquities and sins?"
--Job 13:23

Charles Spurgeon

Have you ever really weighed and considered how great the sin of God's people is? Think how heinous is your own transgression, and you will find that not only does a sin here and there tower up like an alp, but that your iniquities are heaped upon each other, as in the old fable of the giants who piled Pelian upon Ossa, mountain upon mountain.

What an aggregate of sin there is in the life of one of the most sanctified of God's children! Attempt to multiply this, the sin of one only, by the multitude of the redeemed, "a number which no man can number," and you will have some conception of the great mass of the guilt of the people for whom Jesus shed His blood. But we arrive at a more adequate idea of the magnitude of sin by the greatness of the remedy provided. It is the blood of Jesus Christ, God's only and well-beloved Son.

God's Son! Angels cast their crowns before Him! All the choral symphonies of heaven surround His glorious throne. "God over all, blessed for ever. Amen." And yet He takes upon Himself the form of a servant, and is scourged and pierced, bruised and torn, and at last slain; since nothing but the blood of the incarnate Son of God could make atonement for our offences.

No human mind can adequately estimate the infinite value of the divine sacrifice, for great as is the sin of God's people, the atonement which takes it away is immeasurably greater.

Therefore, the believer, even when sin rolls like a black flood, and the remembrance of the past is bitter, can yet stand before the blazing throne of the great and holy God, and cry, "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died; yea rather, that hath risen again."

While the recollection of his sin fills him with shame and sorrow, he at the same time makes it a foil to show the brightness of mercy--guilt is the dark night in which the fair star of divine love shines with serene splendour.

The Gospel

What you are about to read may change your life forever.

I have a question for you. How perfect do you think you must be to get into heaven? What if I told you that you had to be perfect like God? Believe it or not, that is what the Bible teaches. God is completely holy. Since God is completely holy, how could God accept us into His presence unless we are holy as He is?

Here is our problem. We know we are not perfect, but rather, sinners. The Bible says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

I would like to bring up the struggles a certain man had in his day. We would have to admire the struggles this gentleman had to attain salvation. His name was Martin Luther.

Martin Luther entered the Catholic Priesthood for one reason, and that was to save his soul. We must understand that in Martin's time, the doctrine of salvation was confusing on many points. They taught in those days that a person had to be perfect if he wanted to go to heaven. Although it was confusing, the fact is, they were correct that one must be perfect to enter into heaven.

Martin entered the monastery with the hopes that he could make himself perfect. He would do things like sleep in his cold cell without blankets. He would spend time begging, and there were times he went many days without food, just to mortify the flesh. But Martin found no comfort for his struggles.

Another thing Martin did was go to confession. He found little hope there too. He would spend as much as six hours a day in confession, going over all the things he did. One day his confessor got so exasperated with Martin. He told Martin that the next time he came to confession, that it not be over these little sins, but for things like murder or idolatry, but not for little sins. But Martin, being a better theologian in his day, knew the issue was not whether the sin was big or little, but whether or not it had been confessed, because he knew that just one small sin could banish us from God forever! He reached an impasse because he knew that in order for sins to be forgiven, they had to be confessed, and for them to be confessed, they had to be remembered, and if they could not be remembered, they could not be confessed and therefore they could not be forgiven! He was in despair. But think about this for a moment. Even if Martin confessed all his sins, he still had tomorrow to face and more sins!

One day Martin's confessor said to him, "Why don't you teach the Bible?" So Martin began to lecture on the Psalms and came to 22:1 where it says, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Martin contemplated on that verse and wondered why Jesus experienced the despair of soul, the kind of agony Martin was experiencing. It began to dawn on Martin that Jesus experienced that because He died on the cross for sinners.

Then Martin began to lecture on the book of Romans, and came to Romans 1:6 where it states, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;" and another, "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17 ). Martin hated the phrase the righteousness of God. He said what gave him terror was because he was such a great sinner and God was righteous, that was the problem. But as he studied the text, he began to see the connection between the phrase "the righteous of God" as revealed in the Gospel, and the phrase "the just shall live by faith." Then Martin realized there are two ways to look at the righteousness of God.

The righteousness that God has as an attribute as being God.

The righteousness which God gives to those who believe in Christ.

As Martin continued his lectures on the book of Romans, he came to chapter 3. "That all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." He also pondered Romans 3:24, "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"

And then as Martin began to look at the life of Abraham in Romans chapter 4, he began to discover that justified is not God making us righteous day by day so that we can enter into heaven, but justification means that God declares us to be as righteous as Christ Himself is. It's a legal declaration that God makes about us.

Now, before we put this all in perspective, let's look at what 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

What that verse actually means is that when Jesus Christ died on the cross, our sins were credited to Him. He took our sins, and in exchange He gives us His righteousness. Look at the picture just below and you will see how the transfer works.

Tract_Page_10_What_He_Did_GIF.gif

Righteousness refers to the perfections of God, and He gives that to us, and He gives that to us as a FREE GIFT. What it actually boils down to is that Jesus got what He did not deserve, our sin, and we get what we don't deserve, His righteousness.

The Bible says, "But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification" (Romans 4:24,25).

So justification doesn't simply mean, "Just as if I never sinned," it means more than that. It means just as if I lived a complete life of obedience and holiness. This is only because Jesus Christ is my substitute, and He meets all the requirements of God's requirements for me.

So please understand, we are not saved on the basis of our merit, that is, anything good we have done, but the basis of Christ's perfect merit, accepted by God the Father.

We can say several things about the righteousness of God, which is a theme in the Scriptures. It is a righteousness that is entirely different from ours.

1) Paul said he wanted to be found in Christ, not having his own righteousness, but the righteousness of Christ. It's a righteousness which we have none. We make no contribution, all we can do is receive the gift. So when you think about it, righteousness has to be a free gift. We can't attain it ourselves.

There are people who have sinned greatly, so much so, that they have ruined the lives of strangers and loved ones, and they ask, "Is there any way I can be forgiven?" Yes, there is.

Remember that picture above? When you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, a transaction takes place. God is crediting to you what you don't deserve, and therefore it is a "free gift." Remember, Jesus got what He didn't deserve, our sin, and we get what we don't deserve, His righteousness.

So, can God really forgive you? You just need to know that the righteousness that God gives is a gift of righteousness. That righteousness covers me and that same righteousness can cover you. It can be credited to your account even though you have sinned greatly, because the issue is not the greatness of the sin, it's the beauty and the completion of the righteousness.

2) This righteousness is unchangeable. The same righteousness that the apostle Paul received, is the same righteousness that I received, and it's the same righteousness you can receive.

3). The righteousness of God is also a permanent righteousness. Remember how we mentioned earlier about Martin Luther confessing his sins everyday? Although a person may confess his sins everyday, it doesn't mean that person is saved. Confessing sins does not save anyone. Going to church does not save anyone. When you accept Jesus Christ as your "sin bearer," that gift of righteousness is strong enough and powerful enough and permanent enough to take you all the way to heaven. There's no need for a Catholic to believe in purgatory (a place that doesn't exist anyway), a place where it is believed that a person is made perfect enough to enter into heaven. There's no need to think you can mortify your body, no need to do good works in order to make you perfect so you can enter into heaven. No my friends, these things will not work. The Good News of the Gospel is that when you place your trust in Jesus Christ, God credits you with His righteousness, and you are made perfect enough to right NOW enter into heaven.

Look at it this way. Imagine two trails. One is beautiful because great care has been taken to keep it beautiful. The other is full of ruts and very rough. When a blanket of snow falls on those trails, you cannot tell the difference between the two. That is the same way with us. We are clothed in His righteousness. In the Bible God says, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool" (Isaiah 1:18).

The minute you die, as a believer, you are immediately escorted right into the presence of God because legally you are as perfect as Christ, because you are now clothed in His righteousness, that wonderful gift God gives us.

Paul speaks over a hundred times in the New Testament about the believer being "in Christ." This means that Jesus Christ covers us. We are covered because we are "in Him." We are joined to Christ and we even need not fear death because our confidence is in Him alone. He supplies the righteousness which God demands.

Your entrance into heaven and standing before God will have nothing to do with the good works you have done in the past, but God is going to be looking for the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Isn't this cause for rejoicing and thankfulness knowing there is nothing we can earn or that we owe God? Yes, we know God wants us to be obedient, for that is part of the Christian life, but as far as our standing before God is concerned, Jesus Christ met all the requirements for us. God made "...him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." The Bible also says, "Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification" (Romans 4:25). That my friend, is the good news of the Gospel!

Can you be forgiven? Yes. The Bible says if you want to be saved, you simply "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31)

If you believe what you have read and want to be saved from your sins and have eternal life in the presence of God, I ask you now to bow your head and take a moment to just simply ask Jesus Christ to be your Saviour. Don't worry about fancy prayers, because saying the sinner's prayer will not save you. Don't worry about having to go forward in a church service, because going to the altar will not save you. Don't worry that you have to confess your sins, or turn away from your sins, because confessing and turning from your sins will not save you. Simply place your trust in what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. When you accept the fact of what He did, you have accepted Jesus.

Once you are saved, you will find that your desires will change. You will have a desire to turn from your sins and do what is right, you will have a desire to read God's word, you will have a desire to have fellowship with other believers. It will be Christ IN YOU Who will give you a new life and new desires.

TOMORROW Could be to late!

Don't wait!

2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.)

Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Proverbs 29:1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth [his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

Who knows what tomorow may bring?

Luke 12:16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, [and] be merry. 20 But God said unto him, [Thou] fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So [is] he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Don't be like the fools of Noah's day or those who will be deceived in the future.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

ALL HAVE SINNED

Romans 3 :23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

SIN HAS A PENALTY

Ezekiel 18: 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

JESUS PAID THE PENALTY:

Isaiah 53:4. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

You need to receive Jesus and the gospel of grace

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Read the post above this one and prayerfully consider what is written.

Bibleberean

Read the post above this one and prayerfully consider what is written.

are you trying to lay again the foundations in Christ Jesus?

This is exactly what Paul was speaking about.

Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Heb 6:3 And this will we do, if God permit. Heb

Paul was speaking here of only teaching and speaking of the "foundations" of Christ Jesus. That there is "more" beyond all of this for those that are born again and suppose to be growing in the Lord. This is all the "milk" of the word. But there is the meat and strong meat of the word.

He was not saying that "we would not do these things" for there are times when we lead ones to the Lord that they too must have the foundations in Christ Jesus laid within as well,, so "these things we will do"

but for ourselves personally and for others that have walked with the Lord for some time ,, we must lay these things down and go on to perfection.

Heb 6:9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

there comes a time when we all must lay down the foundations,, but then there comes a time where we must "build upon those foundations" ,,

one of the things that hold ones back from going on to new things in the Lord is "being taught the same thing over and over again , year after year" never having the foundations built upon.

There are glorious truths and wonderous things of the Lord that He desire's to reveal to each and every one. But we must lay down the foudations and we must begin to go to perfection and have those foundations built upon.

The milk of the word will only sustain you for so long and you must begin to eat solid food. The meat of the word!

Paul said "do not lay again",,, once the foundatins of the doctrine of Jesus Christ has been laid then go on ,, move on ,, go on to higher things in the Lord. Seek the meat and the strong meat!!

Read the rest of Hebrews ,, ask the Lord to open your understanding

Do you know that even the ones that have went on before us cannot even come into complete perfection without us?

All the ones from all the generations of times past that have went on before us cannot come into complete perfection without us and they are waiting for us to become fully grown and mature ,,

prayfully read the book of Hebrews and you will see this is truth!

Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

remembering that the "cloud of witnesses" is not "literal people on the earth now" they are the spirit's of those that have went on before us.

as when it says that Jesus will return with the clouds (this is referring to people/saints) clouds are not referring to "white fluffy floating in the sky clouds"

Kathy,

I am presenting the gospel for the sake of people who don't know it. I don't know what you are talking about and quite frankly I am not interested.

and quite frankly I am not interested

Heb 6:9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

it is one thing to know Jesus as our Salviour. But quite another to go on to know Him as Lord. And then even go on from there.

most are content to know Him only as Saviour. And if that is all we are interested in then that all we will know Him as is "Saviour". There are many attributes to our Lord just as there is to the Father. EAch name is a revelation of another part of His character. And that as we progress through our spiritual walk we will come to know Him in each one of these natures.

The example of the Old Testament show the "spiritual progression of our spiritual growth in Jesus"

Abraham met God as "Al Shaddai" . Because God was relating to Abraham as a babe. Jesus as Saviour is presentative of this. "The breasted one" as stated in Revelations.

But as you progress through the Old Testament you will see that each one of the prophets met God in another part of His nature. Moses met God as "I AM". Each time denoting the progression of knowing God in all His attributes. As you go through the Old Testament and find the different names (which denotes nature) of God you will see it was the next prophet haveing the next attribute or nature of God revealed to Him. All of this together represents the spiritual walk of knowing God in "fullness"

Same as with Jesus. We first meet Him as "Saviour", we then must go on to know Him as "Priest" "King" "Lord" It is a process . As you grow you will come to know God in a different way. From precept to precept from glory to glory.

King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

But if we are content to only know Him as Saviour then we will not go on to know Him in fullness.

There are seven spirits of God.

Kathy

Ah well...if there's more to know I have no doubt that my Lord will show me in his own good time and when I'm ready. Until then I'm quite happy to know him as my Lord and saviour and trust him to do the revealing and not some random person on the internet :)

Ah well...if there's more to know I have no doubt that my Lord will show me in his own good time and when I'm ready. Until then I'm quite happy to know him as my Lord and saviour and trust him to do the revealing and not some random person on the internet

this is all absolutley truth! but we are also called to :

seek and you will find

knock and it will be opened to you

draw nigh unto me and I will draw nigh unto you

if we are content to stay right where we are, then that is exactly where we will stay and will not go on to having Christ fully formed within.

how many times in scripture does it say something like "Jesus was passing by and they called out to Him"?

and He would of kept on passing right by if they had not of called out to Him

we all should have that deep hunger, that deep desire for more of Him. To Truly Know Him. Intimately and deeply know Him. Not just know about Him.

"Those who hunger and thirst after rightousness will be filled"

The Good News of the Gospel

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 14: 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

THE LORD JESUS PAID THE PENALTY FOR SIN ON THE CROSS

Isaiah 53: 4.

1 Peter 1: 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Hebrews 10: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Romans 5: 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

SALVATION IS A GIFT OFFERED TO ANYONE WHO WILL RECEIVE IT

Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Titus 3: 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Romans 5: 1. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN

John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 4: 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

COME TO THE LORD JESUS AND RECEIVE THE GIFT OF FORGIVENESS AND ETERNAL LIFE.

The Bible says:

ALL HAVE SINNED:

Romans 3: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

SIN HAS A PENALTY:

Ezekiel 18: 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

JESUS PAID THE PENALTY:

Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

YOU MUST RECEIVE THE LORD JESUS:

John 1: 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

YOU MUST BELIEVE THE GOSPEL

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

1 Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Here is a site to help new believers to grow in the Lord

It isn't just new believer's that need to grow in the Lord. We all need to be continually growing in the Lord. Continueally pressing on to maturity. To become full grown sons and daughters of God.

But many believers choose not too. Many are content to stay right where they are. Content in knowing they are saved but that is it. Not going on to perfection. Not going on to new heights in Hm. Not going deeper , higher.

You can be full grown and mature "mortal" adults but stay at a place spiritually for 10 , 20, 30 years or more , where you are still just as much a babe in Christ as if you were just saved!

Jesus didn't say "come up hither" for no reason.

Being saved and going on to perfection , becoming full grown spiritual sons and daughters of God are two very different things.

There is much more to this walk with Jesus than meets the eye.

When a believers gets that deep hunger for all of Jesus, to move on in Him. Begins to truly seek Him with all that they are. Then He is faithful and true and will take you to new heights in Him. You will being to see things, hear things , know things that you once thought was unimaginable! The mysteries of God will begin to be opened up to you. All the hidden mysteries that Paul constantly talked about. Al the hidden mysteries that were sealed up till the end times. You will be caught up with Christ in the hevenlies. You will truly deeply and intimately know Him. Not just know about Him.

And that is my calling. To get ones to see there is more and much more to see, hear, know, and experience in Christ Jesus , in the here and now. and to never be content where they are. To begin to dig deep. To begin to developt the deep and longing hunger within to want more than just to "know about Jesus" , to want more than all the "busyness" of all the "chruch programs" to want more than just knowing doctrines and creeds and dogma's. To get to the place where they begin to here God for themselves! Not just to hear God through another man. To truly hear Him for yourself. To want more than just sitting and waiting for some supposed rapture of the chruch which is never going to happen. Because it is a false doctrine. With it's beginings with a Jesuit Priest to the Catholic Church" To want more than the religous system is teaching , giving ,, but to truly seek the BREAD OF LIFE for yourself.

The Lord's prayer :

Give us this day our daily bread.

Do you truly believe it is referring to "literal bread" daily food to eat to sustain our mortal bodies??

No saints , it is referring to the "bread from heaven"!!

Father "give us this day our daily bread" Jesus, the manna from heaven.!!

Jesus is the bread of life that we need to feed our "spiritual bodies" !

no it is not referring to literal bread.

"Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be given to you"

Spiritual things !!!!!

not literal worldly things and that includes food.

take NO THOUGHT for what you will eat or wear for if our Father in heaven see the little sparrow fall how much more will He know what we have need of ?

it is ALWAYS SPIRITUAL THINGS WE ARE TO SEEK AFTER,, HUNGER FOR,,

There is so much for available to ALL right now. Right where you are. Which has nothing to do with "things" of this mortal world

Jesus says "come up hither and I will SHOW YOU"

and is truth!!

we can quote scripture after scripture , page after page,, saying all manner of things,, proving and disproving all manner of things ,, but this will not bring us to a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus. It will not bring us to a place where we truly see Him and Know Him.

if you are content and completely satisfied to stay right where you are then , stay right where you are is what you will do

but there is SO MUCH MORE AVAILABLE for you RIGHT NOW in Christ Jesus!

Truly take the time to search your hearts minds and souls. Truly see if there isn't something deep within you that has always known "there has to be more"!

most christians know deep within theirselves that there is more, they just don't know what or how.

Truly ask yourself wht this means:

There are many that will say Lord Lord and He will say "I never knew you". And this was said to "born again believers" those who have cast out devils in His name, prophesied in His name , healed the sick in His name etc ,,

but still He said "get away I do not know you"

truly search your souls ,, there is no place in our Father's Kingdom for pride. There is no place in our Father's Kingdom for piousness or hauntiness. For "pretending" you truly KNOW Him. When all you have is "knowledge about Him"..

this is serious business saints,, very serious,,,

there is more , a whole lot more to it than just being saved!

"strive to obtain the "prize of the high calling" of God in Christ Jesus!

Faith without works is dead!

These works have nothing to do with outward works. Has nothing to do with chruch programs and all the running to and fro doing all these good works to be seen of men.

These works have to do with "the inworking of the Holy Spirit within each one of us". To take us to heights IN HIM before thought unimaginable! To teach us new things, to show us new things, to take us from precept to precept from Glory to Glory! To take us higher , deeper, in Christ Jesus. To reach that place where deep calleth unto deep. To take us to that place where we too can enter in. Where we can have resurrection life in the here and now! Where we too can be where He is NOW!

Faith without works is dead!

Oh yes saints of the Most High God! When Jesus said "come up hither" He meant it!

Don't be caught as one saying "Lord Lord" and Jesus saying "get away for I do not know you"..

don't take my word for it ,, don't take any man's word for anything ,, but take it all to Jesus!!

Ask Him for yourselves if what I am saying is true or not.

and if it isn't truth then what do you have to lose?

but if it is truth,,,,,,,,,,then you have much to gain !!!

CAN ANYONE BE SAVED BY DOING GOOD WORKS?

Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Titus 3: 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

HOW DOES A PERSON BECOME SAVED?

Acts 16: 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

WHAT JESUS DID ON THE CROSS

Isaiah 53: 5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

THE LORD JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN

John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 4: 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

John 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

John 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO CLAIM THEY KNOW ANOTHER WAY TO GOD?

Proverbs 14: 12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.

Matthew 7: 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Colossians 2: 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

DON'T PUT OFF THE OPPORTUNITY FOR SALVATION

2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Luke 12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

Revelation 3: 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Romans 10: 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Four Things God Wants You to Know

From the Peoples Gospel Hour.

Four Things God Wants You to Know

http://www.tpgh.org/

1. You Need To Be Saved

"Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

"There is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." (Ecclesiastes 7:20)

"We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags." (Isaiah 64:6)

2. You Cannot Save Yourself

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us." (Titus 3:5)

"By the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." (Galatians 2:16)

"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." (James 2:10)

"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Proverbs 14:12)

3. Jesus Has Already Provided For Your Salvation

"Who [Jesus] his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness." (1 Peter 2:24)

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God." (1 Peter 3:18)

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

4. Jesus Will Enable You to Overcome Temptation

"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished." (2 Peter 2:9)

"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Your Part:

1. Repent (Turn from your sins)

"Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)

2. Believe

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Acts 16:31)

3. Do It Now

"Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near." (Isaiah 55:6)

"Behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:2)

"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?" (Hebrews 2:3)

4. Remember

"Every one of us shall give account of himself to God." (Romans 14:12)

"It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." (Hebrews9:27)

"But he that believeth on him...shall not come into judgment." (John 5:24)

"Choose you this day whom ye will serve." (Joshua 24:15)

Herein Is Love

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Please take a moment to consider the love of God which is manifested in the person of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. God sent His Son into the world to be your Saviour from sin. God gave His Son to die upon the Cross and to shed His blood that you need not perish. God offers you forgiveness of sins and everlasting life through His Son.

Herein is love! But many choose not to receive God's love, and reject His gift of everlasting life through faith in Jesus Christ. Yet apart from the life which God offers you in His Son, you are dead in trespasses and sins and shall die, for "all have sinned" and the "wages of sin is death." (Romans 3:23; 6:23) For the same God who says, "he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life," also says that "he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36)

Be not deceived. You do not earn salvation by "good" conduct, membership in any organization, adherence to any creed, or by any ritual or sacrament. Salvation is a free gift of God which you receive through personal faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8,9) Jesus Christ is "the way, the truth, and the life." (John 14:6) No one comes to God but by Him. No one knows the truth apart from Him. No one has life except through Him. Won't you believe this in your heart and call upon the Lord Jesus to save you? For "if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

God in His love and grace offers you salvation from sin and death. Your response to God determines whether you will spend eternity in heaven or in hell. Have you believed God and received His love through faith in Jesus Christ? If not, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive Him as your Saviour, and you shall be saved from sin and death and have everlasting life.

Jesus Died Your Soul To Save

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Jesus died your soul to save;
For your life He freely gave
All He had in heaven above,
Just to show His wondrous love.

Wondrous love so rich, so free--
Can it truly be for me?
Yes, dear friend, 'tis true, 'tis true,
All Christ did, He did for you.

--Jennifer R. Leaf
