I'm trying to convince a single mother of two not to go into working at a strip club.she is the daughter of a minister and knows better but has made some mistakes and is stuck at min wage jobs.
It's really a sad commentary on our society when a mother of two children views working at a strip club as a means to earn enough money with which to support her children.
She's in my prayers, jasonc .... thanks for bringing her situation to our attention for prayers.

That's because we've been told over and over and over again that those are 'victimless' crimes in most states. In Illinois, strip clubs have to be 'private' men's clubs, because otherwise, they would be charged with legal offenses, as prostitution is against the law in this state. But a private men's club is legal. Go figure.
We'll be praying for her. Yeah, she's desperate. But she's not alone. A lot of those women in those clubs as well as the ones working the streets are there for the same reasons. I pray for several of them that I know every day.
