Futurist vs Preterist debate

Last post was on tax day (April 15th) a good day for the rapture to take place.

dun dun dunnnnn!

Another dodge JLB... Did Jesus allow Thomas to touch Him? Is that that hard of a question.. I see clearly why you are unwilling to sayso. The Verses i posted imply He ascended and returned but that just does not fit into the theology of many..

Absolutely it says second time..
28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. Hebrews 9:28
So some how Heb 9 :28 and John 20 :17 have to 'jive' or blend together ...

Also Hebrews 9:28 does not say He will not return a 3 ,4 -the time,,,, that thought is being read into the verse.. Please note i have not stated He will return over and over... I simply said the verse does not rule out another ...

Jesus ascended to the Father on the feast of First Fruits (the morrow after the Sabbath) or the same day he rose from the grave. This ascension went unnoticed by human kind. The final ascension was 40 days latter was witnessed by men when the angels in Acts 1 said he would return again in the same way he left (flying in the sky).

Oh boy, would that be fun! Especially if one had not filed yet. Can you imagine them trying to find you?

I agree. :salute
And from that day count 7 weeks to the day He sent the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. :)
