I live in a decent modest but nice place. My place in particular has an awesome view. So…

I’m forever being taunted with old psych labels and being called a felon which…

Honestly? I’m not too good to have a felony and the plea bargain was something of a miracle. Problem is…

People act as if they have some right to control me and I’m getting frustrated. Some dude was banging on my front door at 5 am huffing and puffing about a convicted felon blah blah blah…

So there’s also the issue of some angry individual deciding to beat me up or something. I dunno

I’ve only been psych hospitalized 2x neither time in a state facility. The last one was 15 years ago. People openly yell about me needing to be in the state hospital and…?

Frustrating. I pray to bear up under this better. Thanks

Not to post and post and post but…

Again?!?! At 3 am?!?!?

Frustrating. Especially since a lot of it is because of previous psych junk. Did I mention that I’m apparently considered severely narcissistic by previous treatment providers? At this point I’d be over it…a lot of time has passed and the mental health industry is crazy itself…

But I’m dealing with people yelling at me because I went off meds after a miserable hospitalization nearly 20 years ago?!?! It kind of reaffirms my antipsychiatry leanings…

What are your interests and hobbies?

I have established a lot of swan plants on my property and most of the year they are host to monarch butterfly caterpillars. I find cocoons in lots of places and there are usually many monarch butterflies around.

You have my sympathy in your situation. The world is a hostile environment even though there are peaceful moments to enjoy. Invasive thoughts have to be dealt with as soon as they occur or else they will crowd out the love of God and the blessings of His grace and mercy.

There are some major players in the demonic realm that make it their business to discomfort and distress us whenever possible. It is good to be empowered by Christ and to have a table furnished in the presence of our enemies.

Psa 23:5-6 You furnish a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. (6) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

Hi

No one has laid a hand on me praise God. There have been threats but those dudes were renting and they’ve moved. Honestly?!?! This isn’t a luxury place but it’s nice enough that I shouldn’t have to deal with that kind of stuff. Ugh then again…

A lot of this is because I was so low status and impoverished and now I’m in the modest parts of mainstream society. Gratitude…working on gratitude…

I dunno I’ve only been hospitalized twice the last one 15 years ago. Both were private which isn’t because I’m super special but I was on my parents insurance and there was money to be made…

Rambling. I kind of feel like those 70s mental patients you know the ones who were openly hated when a lot of state hospitals started letting people out. What to do? I can’t seem to score any points no matter what I do so I’m trying to just live my life with Christ at the center and…

it does get frustrating. I don’t live large and luxe but I have a bit more than I need. No drugs no drinking. I think the nit picking about what I have is frustrating. Also frustrating is people saying I have a conservator…because I don’t and those are rare for mental health cases in my area anyway…

And that I need to be in a group home etc. is it pride? I’ll pray on it. I mean…

Group homes around here are a dead end and they’re rigid. I dunno I’m also high functioning thank God..

There's a lot of social stigma around people with mental health issues because people generally lack education and/ or understanding in this field. Still, this doesn't justify them acting out in violence and threatening you. Praying for your safety and well-being, Christ_empowered.

I agree with what Exeter said about demons wanting to cause us distress whenever possible by intruding on our thoughts. Whatever your past may have been like, our Lord has forgiven you and you are now free and cleansed from that part of history (1 John 1:9). Those memories which may keep playing in your mind no longer hold you captive. You have the power of Jesus in you to rewrite the narrative of your life for His glory. Dwell on that notion whenever you are met with fierce opposition and/or whenever the enemy tries to tell you otherwise.

Be blessed and encouraged. Take heart and be strong in the Lord.
