A gun is just a piece of metal. But they are getting into the wrong hands.Just read the news each and every day.It is ugly.
I am sure there is but there are many more tragic stories of guns killing innocent people. There is no way to keep guns out of the hand of those who should not get them. They are sold on the streets and everywhere else illegally.Yep, but realistically, for every ugly story that we hear about there's prolly 3 other homes where the rifle sits in the closet and never harms anyone.
So you are in the tribulation and you have a gun.It would not do you any good. You and many do not know just how devastating it will be.I originally got into firearms because I really thought the End Times were near. Which may very well still be true. And it wasn't even protecting myself so much as those I cared about.
Well, no-one is saying firearms are a panacea. I saw no reason to wait on learning how to use one. Guns are like emergency supplies. If you wait until you need it, it's already too late.So you are in the tribulation and you have a gun.It would not do you any good. You and many do not know just how devastating it will be.
I'd say a LOT more than 3. Where I live there are very few people who don't have guns in their homes, whether for protection, sport, family keepsakes, or hunting. Anyone who says they don't have a gun is actually seen as kind of "different" and looked at sort of funny! Yet in the 15 years I've lived here I haven't heard of one "ugly story" either in the news or in person.Yep, but realistically, for every ugly story that we hear about there's prolly 3 other homes where the rifle sits in the closet and never harms anyone.
I wonder how many women have pulled a gun on a man and have had it used against her.I own a firearm accessory business, and I don't personally own a firearm. I just wanted, if the time comes, to be able to pick one up and make the bullets go where they're needed.
I don't know, but I imagine if a woman was drawing down on someone, an unhappy finale was already scripted, regardless of the hardware in proximity.I wonder how many women have pulled a gun on a man and have had it used against her.

I live in isolated territory.I don't have a gun.
No I do not live alone.I live with my son and he is big.....He will protect me.But without a gun.. I will have faith that God is always my protection. That's true. They'll always get them even if their illegal. They can even be made in the garage pretty easy. Too late now, they're here to stay on earth for the long haul.
Very true. Rather have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it. Even Jesus said to have a sword or two. I think the implication was to have something, but not to go overboard with them. Don't depend on them too much, we still look to the Lord for our protection and not guns.
I think you're right. It's that way in my circle too.
Most times, the mere presence of a gun is enough to stop the aggressor with no shots fired. That's a blessing. I've gotten out of a couple scrapes just by telegraphing the fact that I was armed and didn't even need to draw it. That was great because I don't ever want to have to shoot anyone.
Sorry to hear that sister. Especially if you live alone, which i think you do if i remember right. The police can not ever get there fast enough to save you, just sponge up the mess. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
Luke 22:38
38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough./(KJV)
You should at least have one.
I've heard that question asked a lot, but never heard it answered. I'd venture to say it doesn't happen any more times than for any gender pulling a gun on any gender. I don't think it's a gender specific thing. As long as the person pulling the gun is ready and intends to fire it if needed it's not going to be taken from them very easily. If not ready to fire it, they will have it taken away from them no matter what gender they are. A person who isn't mentally ready to kill another human being (when necessary to protect themselves or someone else) shouldn't be relying on a gun for their protection in the first place. They can hunt, target shoot, collect, but they shouldn't be relying on them for protection from other people.I wonder how many women have pulled a gun on a man and have had it used against her.

I have no problem with a person making the decision not to own a gun or use one for protection. I just hope your comment about faith in God isn't meant to subtlety imply that those of us who see it differently for ourselves are actually acting out of a lack of faith in God? Most times God expects us to do our part to the best of our ability before expecting him to take over in some miraculous way. for those of us with the skill and frame of mind to use a gun properly (and I know that's not everybody), I believe having one and being ready to use it if needed shows no lack of faith in God at all.No I do not live alone.I live with my son and he is big.....He will protect me.But without a gun.. Having a gun is not an option for me.I ask for protection. If others choose to have a gun that is their choice. No lack of faith intended.I have no problem with a person making the decision not to own a gun or use one for protection.
