Girl 9 Kills With A Uzi

Does this sort of show the proficiency or quality of gun education in our country. Yeah we need more gun carry laws, allow children under 50 years of age to have them for so-called sport hunting pretending to be the Great White Hunter as it were; anyone ever get a glimpse of those wandering around the woods dressed as if they're a swat team; wow are they impressive or what?

Evidently the spoiled kid was thought to be old enough to shoot the weapon, did she also provide care for the man she killed? Will the parents be held responsible?
Maybe it just has something to do with the current style trend in a certain area? I'm not a hunter, but the people I know that go hunting (most of the people I live around) seem to dress pretty much like anyone else I know that goes for a long walk in the wilderness. Probably the only difference is they avoid having or doing anything that would scare the animals away since that would be rather counterproductive and they may wear things related to carrying a gun or other hunting supplies, such as vests with pockets for ammo, knives, etc. A lot of people here depend on what they shoot to help feed their families, so they take it seriously and have no fantasies of being some kind of "Great White Hunter" or anything like that. They just want some food that didn't cost an arm and a leg at the supermarket and isn't pumped full of drugs and growth hormones.

When I lived in a neighborhood the little kids would have their play guns and shooting at each other.I think that is kind of creepy.
Really? I remember all the kids playing "Cowboys and Indians" or "GI Joe" and stuff like that when I was a kid. Used to be a lot of fun and seemed pretty normal. Don't know if any of them do that anymore, but I think it was a lot healthier than kids today just sitting in their rooms on their computers and I-phones all day every day.

There will always be the people that overdress for the sport they like. I see bicyclists out the riding around with helmets, fluorescent spandex and numbers like they're in a marathon or something, Urban cowboys all decked out with their hats and boots and fringe, dancers with their dancing clothes on, bikers all dressed in leather, and even hippies holding on to the 60's with their headbands and tye-dyed T-shirts. Depends what you're into I guess. Psuedo-military guys have their costumes too, lol.

I usually wear flannels when I hunt or go stomping around in the mountains. Not to try to dress any part but the clothes are warm and depending on the season, it's pretty good camouflage too.

That's thanks to the media shaping the minds of America. It was a normal part of growing up for me too. Them making people feel as if playing cops and robbers is creepy is them tryna' make gun owners go into the closet like the homosexuals used to be socially. LOL LOL! It's really normal, and when they outlaw toy guns then kids will pick up gun shaped sticks and play anyway. :hysterical

I think alot of kids have changed. That is what I remember as well the "Cowboys and Indians" but the kids in this neighborhood would go down the street in groups. They would yell four letter words at each other. And this was a nice neighborhood.

I used to play war.I would hide behind the bushes in the front of our house and the cars would be the japanese airplanes. We lived in the country so the chance of a car coming by was rare but.....oh well.

I used to build forts out of TV's , bricks, pallets and dirt then we would play either manhunt, or war. which is better to have a kid do this or to play halo with blood and guts being shown. case in point, with grand theft auto one can buy a whore, and it well has a porn like effect.

I used to like to build forts out of the bales of hay that were left in the field by my house. My dad would get mad about that though.I also used to like to build forts out of a bunch of blankets in our livingroom and put them on the furniture.I was a tomboy.

I figured that. I wonder my wife was one, monica and jaci is. I wonder if monica did do that. oddly Nathan has done it but nothing on the scale of what me and my brother and the gang did at his age. Nathan is a loner at times. oddly he could ask me where is the places for that and I would say woods are close by, I have walked him down a good area where if I was that young , would be a most excellent spot. however, he is a paintball fanatic. that is a new way, hmmm thinking. I might have to find a team.

I would imagine they are. It's hard for me to even imagine how terrible they must feel. That was a terrible tragedy and a good example of what can happen when people don't follow basic safety rules and common sense. Well, sense that is common among those who are familiar and responsible with firearms anyway.
