It's incredible how tough times can bring people together.

i am saying this to make a point the Bible says cast all our cares of him cause he cares for us. this could go with the words we hear so often .take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there. point---> as a spectator it is easy for me to say just have faith . you should sleep easy . if you would just use your faith.. there is faith great faith and ye of little faith.. i have been through layoffs but not to this amount .
i dont know what your going through .because its not my job that is going away. working in a factory that 12 years ago we sold over 3 million engines today it is around 1.2 or in that area .. our selling season starts off like a rocket .but ends like a fire cracker . it does concern me some day Briggs at p.bluff mo will shut the door.. nothing is certain this day and age other than taxes and death ..
when we see someone facing trials and heavy burdens . much like the death of a loved one. the last thing they need to hear is .i know what your going through...Emotions is something God gave us. it does not mean were weak when we have anxiety . it means we are only human the greatest prayer ever said is Lord help me .
so when we see some one going through a tough time.. a smile a word of encouragement is more help. than Bro just have faith . we have faith God will bring us through it.. just not sure how .
might i add some has experienced permanent lose of job and can relate. but once again everyone is different . we know his grace is sufficient one thing for sure if noah found Grace we can to :amen

Having faced a similar situation, and also the military looking at me to force me out ,I learned that there isn't much we do control might as well make the most of it.

I need to start by saying I'm sorry for not updating everyone yesterday. To say yesterday wasn't an emotional, intense day would be an understatement.

The layoffs went by department. When a department was complete, they would get the all clear. We were the last department of the day. We were all on edge and when they walked the first one out,.... It got real quiet.

The good news is I still have a job. It's bitter sweet. It's a huge weight off my shoulders.

I have to say this. Even though we lost a lot of good people, I have to give kuddos to HR. They were extreemly respectful and gave everyone that got let go the time they needed to say goodbye.

A lot of us went to a pub up the road to finish saying our goodbyes and just close out the day. I think it's the most I've eaten in a few days. It feels good to be hungry again.

I want to say thank you to everyone for your prayers and support. It's meant a lot to me. I'm sorry I left you all hanging yesterday, but I'm glad I have the time this morning to say what I really want to say.

They were allowed to come back to their desks and say their goodbyes, then escorted to their cars.... It's going to be a mess around here for awhile and I'm already feeling the effects of filling in...

HR was more than respectful and handled themselves well showing compassion and understanding.
