Good works........James

I don't really care if you think I'm Jesus like or not, you are TRASHING the Bible and it's ridiculous for a non spiritual person to think they know when they don't. You are obviously here to teach a false doctrine, a person doing that is up to no good.
Jesus ALREADY said if you love Him, we will obey, we take the WHOLE council of the Word and get the WHOLE picture of what God is telling us.
Stop trashing the Bible!
You must be really young or a new Christian because your tone smacks of immaturity.

LOL You tell me what you did and then YOU call ME immature? Dude, you are on here making fun of the Bible, LYING about what it says, trying to teach something spiritual when you are NON SPIRITUAL, again, it's a joke - a big one. You really have no idea what you're saying or what the Bible says in it's entirety, you are blinded, so please just stop.

Jesse, you keep proving my point.

Jesse, how can you read Matthew 25:31- and Matthew 19 below and say that Jesus didn't teach works is required for salvation?

Matthew 19:
16Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”
17“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
18“Which ones?” he inquired.
Jesus replied, “ ‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, 19honor your father and mother,’c and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’d
20“All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
21Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

For one thing your are running scriptures together and forgetting some things....The young man mentioned above was VERY RICH......this is why Jesus told him to sell everything and give it to the poor...Jesus checked his heart big time here....See the man felt he was good enough to be a follower of Jesus....So Jesus knowing what was in the mans heart told him to sell or give away ALL YOUR RICHES....The man could not do it because the mans heart was in his riches. His riches meant more to him then anything...Jesus checked his heart at the door...

Matthew 25:31 is talking about when jesus returns for His people.....He will seperate His from from the worldly people. Another words....Saved on one side and the unsaved on the other......where will you be ?

Sounds like you've been reading some non-canonical works. But where did you come up with the "anti-Christ" part? James was the leader of the church of Jerusalem and direct successor after Jesus. Even Paul sought James approval and authority. Did James teach "good works", he probably did. But then again his teachings were probably more in alignment with what Jesus taught than Paul. After all, it was Jesus that said at the end times the sheep(those who will receive everlasting life) are those who helped those in need and fed and clothed the poor. Read Matthew 25:31, doesn't Jesus teach "good works" in this passage?

there is some good info on James on the internet so via google see [James - brother of Jesus ] - twinc

1 John 2:3-6 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, " I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

A Christian's works is to have the Holy Spirit guide you in your day to day living. If you don't have works following your born again Spirit, you probably aren't.
