Hello!
I was able to find this forum through Google. I've been recently been curious about asking questions about Christianity, what Christians believe, and how they behave and interact.
You may find that I checked off in my profile (if all members and not just moderators can see the option) that I selected "Non-Christian." I am not of your beliefs and I registered to these forums to learn and have some questions answered.
I've been to a couple of other forums regarding religion before... But almost never specifically a Christian one... Or at least, not one claiming to actually be Christian that didn't involve someone who had a certain agenda. (Money, Fame, Narcissism, etc.)
I'm hoping to find the answers I'm looking for and a kinder attitude towards me asking them here than I've received on previous forums and previous encounters with Christians. (Which to me personally, have been less than ideal.)
One my introductory post is authorized and I'm confirmed not to be some sort of troll or spam bot, you'll most likely see me in the appropriate forum asking away! :P
While I do claim to have many questions about Christianity, that does not entail that I am absent minded of it's aspects and doctrines. I'm actually well versed in the religion... Which is why I'm currently not of it.
I'm hoping that by getting my questions I have about it from individuals of the faith, that I may be able to understand the religion better... And hey, perhaps one day may even understand it enough to become officially involved in it! :D
But for now, my curiosity led me here.
I'm not sure what kind of replies or what the normal procedure is for a new member post... But if questions about the person is allowed, then feel free to ask away!
A bit about me personally... I enjoy Science Fiction, Japanese Animation, Video Games, Movies, and perhaps a plethora of other generic things that are considered "geeky."
While this shouldn't be needed to said, I am also female. (I signed up on a few other forums where people kept calling me "he," thinking my name was some sort of Russian boy's name. Haha.)
I look forward to chatting with you all!
