HAPPY EASTER!

There's a machine with a silacone teat with pumps forcing a lot of milk down the tubes when the veal comes to it and begins to feed.

It's not pasteurized or homogenized either... LOL

What exactly do those mean again?

Pasteurized means it's had all bacteria killed
Homogenized means that it won't separate Cream from skim milk.

Umm,.. so,.. do I still have to beat myself up for eating yogurt and drinking milk?

I've had horse and wild pig. Nice
Instead of ostrich i've had emu and instead of alligator i've had crocodile. Nice

U should try kangaroo if you ever get the chance, very nice
Hmmm. Maybe it was crocodile.....
They say kangaroo is interesting....
but I think a person would have to be living in Australia...
Where did you eat it?

Please tell me that not all calves are treated this way. I feel awful for enjoying milk, yogurt, ice cream, and cottage cheese now. :crying
Most places that slaughter animals are not very friendly to them.
The animals become a thing and all compassion is lost or they wouldn't be able to work
in a place like that. Think of it....could you? No. So the persons that do tend not to
think of animals in the same way you and I do.

Some places might be more humane toward them...it would depend on the higher ups and how THEY feel about animals.

Did you ever hear of Temple Grandin?
She found a way to bring cows to slaughter in a way that they don't realize what's happening so they stay more calm---which is also good for us.

It's probably on YouTube.

Cows MUST make milk or they die, so don't feel badly about drinking milk, or ice-cream or yogurt.

Yea probably can't get it overseas
Here u can buy it at some butchers and also some restaurants serve it

If anyone eats koala bears I don't want to know about it.
In Brazil it's the pihranna that have to worry about getting eaten. They, as a people, eat everything that crawls or moves. They are trying to stop this practice but it's going slow.

I love cheeseburgers and steak as much as JohnDB does but that's still no reason to treat the animals like that. They're God's creation too even if He originally intended them as a mean's of food. Also, what makes you think that I want to work in a place like that anyways? Cause I certainly don't. :(

To be perfectly honest with you I would be more concerned about a piranha eating me if I lived in Brazil. Which thank God I don't and I can't emphasis that enough.

I'm not going there then
They must have stomachs of cast iron.

Actually they are some of the friendliest people I've met in my travels.
Look a stranger in the eye and you have an instant friend... smile while doing so and it's a friend for life.

They, as a people, love to entertain guests and celebrate anything and everything.

Some of the poorer of them can be nefarious so do be careful.

But their style of barbeque and roasting is famous around the world. One of the restaurants we went to had some of the best Brahma bull hump I've had while in the country.

Of course they do beans at every meal, rice as well. Coffee is free flowing and really sweet while really strong. They usually serve just one sip at a time in really small cups.

But they also love exotic meats. They will figure out a way to eat anything.

Mostly because they spend themselves into poverty with all the partying and entertaining of others. Their children are, of course, a different generation and tend to be more circumspect in their celebration.

Aren't they one of those countries that uses monkey poop for coffee beans? *Gags* I don't drink coffee anyways but still, I find that completely disgusting.

Not that I'm aware of.
They do know a lot about coffee.
The Dutch get the finest and smoothest coffee by contract...
It's sold to no one else and no one else is permitted to grow it.

Not that you're aware of it being done in Brazil, or not that you're aware of altogether because it actually does exist. Maybe it's not monkey dung exactly,.. but it's similar. Then again I do believe that we use horse manure for gardening but at least we don't digest it,.. yuck!!

Here's the thing that I was talking about for those of you who do not know. :erm (I do believe they use other animals for it as well this is just an example. I saw it on Animal Planet one time.)

Edit: I sure hope they treat their cats well and it's even nastier that they don't use gloves!! :nono

Brazil is Southern Hemisphere and on the other side of the planet from Indonesia. As opposite as you can get.

I know it isn't the same thing I just couldn't remember all of the details. Besides, as I said before that was just an example video of what I was talking about as I do believe that they do the exact same thing with elephants and certain kinds of monkeys. Anyways, point being why would anybody want to pay that kind of money for that let alone try it and drink it?
