Have You Ever Yearned For Something Special

I always wanted a girl.

When I got pregnant with my first child. He was a healthy baby boy. Fifteen months later I was pregnant again...another boy.:)

I travelled to England and then when the boys were five and seven respectively I got pregnant again.


My body felt different and I was so sure it would be a girl. I believed in my heart that it was going to be a girl.

No luck when I went to the hospital after suffering severe labour pains...the time for the delivery came...the nurse said..you have a beautiful baby boy...I just stared at her...no luck. Thankfully I have two wonderful grand daughters.:wave
 
We do yearn for many things, but not all things are best for us as only God knows what is best for us and always gives us His best gifts. I always yearned for children, but never had any and no medical reason could be found so I gave this to God as He had His purpose in this even though I may never know the purpose. Now I am almost 58 years young and I certainly do not want God to pull a Sarah thing even though hubby wants a little red head Steve running around as he is 12 years younger than I.

God knows his reasons. I look back now and realise that it was probably the best thing.
 
i think its important to remember that both boys and girls are special and that god loves us all no matter what! roz redgrave:nod
