I'm not sure if this is the right place for this kind of a question, but I'm curious: do you believe that all couples who can have children should try, or is it okay to be married and not have any children? My personal stance is the latter; I do not want any children, and even if I did, I would refuse to have them, as my mental health and physical health problems could be passed to them, in more severe forms. I do not want to have a child who is born with physical and mental problems, because I know what I've been through, and I wouldn't wish it on the worst human being to ever live.
What are your thoughts? I've yet to come across a Bible verse that blatantly says "you must have children," and obviously there are those who are unable to have children for one reason or another. For those who can, can you provide evidence for your position that they should have children, or that it is okay for them not to?
