He Is Risen!

He is risen indeed!

Are you Lutheran? Just asking asking 'cause I am and that's what we say. I wonder if it's a Lutheran thing.

Regardless, He is risen. He is risen indeed!

Happy Easter.

Yes, I'm Lutheran. We also did this greeting in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church that I went to when I was younger as well.

yeah, I know. I was just saying, we say the same phrase, word for word. Maybe it's common to all Christians, but as a Lutheran, it's the only reference point I have.

Happy Easter, Christians!!!

He rose yesterday in Australia. :D

Happy Easter everybody! :)

I am feeling compelled to post the lyrics of an excellent contempary Christian Australian song, How Can This Be?. I am really digging it at the moment.
Lyrics (c) Simone Richardson

How can this be?
Creator in creation
The King of Kings
Upon the earth He made
He spoke a word
Creation stopped and
Listened to His voice.
O man of men
The perfect life you gave.

O sight of sights!
A hill outside a city
The Lord of Lords
Is hung upon a tree
The world is dark
The Light of Lights is dying
On a cross
Jesus my Lord
Sinless made sin for me.

There in the tomb
His body lay in waiting
The Lord of Lords
Is silent in the grave
Then joy of joys!
The news that He is risen
From the dead.
The death of death,
Hi lives until this day.

O hope of hopes!
Our bodies raised eternal.
Transformed, renewed
The night of sin has passed.
To this we'll wake
With hearts now pure and
Thankful evermore
And our dear Lord,
We'll see Him face to face.

Happy Easter.

It's in a hymn too. We were singing it today in Church. Beautiful song.

Happy Easter and God bless! :)
