Hello everyone. I'm new here (obviously), and as you may see on the left-hand side of this post, I am not a Christian, or affiliated with any organized religion for that matter. I would not consider myself an atheist though, perhaps more agnostic. Furthermore, I am not here to bash any beliefs, but to provide myself with a place when I can ask some questions and receive answers from a Christian perspective. This would be useful to me as my girlfriend comes from a devout baptist home, where I am frequently left confused by her parent's ideology.

Welcome to CFnet, Thorishere. I hope you enjoy your time with us, and can appreciate that we are a diverse collection of individuals with equally diverse backgrounds & locations. Regardless of the flavour of denomination, the core belief of Christians is a sincere love for and obedience to our Lord. We each have our own quirks & foibles ... and as we make our ways through this life, we're still learning what Scripture has to say.
