Then I said "I guess with that question I would get many that would make claim." I was only referring to how many do make a claim it is only 6000 years old. I doubt anyone could ever prove how old the earth is, but only speculate.

does it really matter ? what records was kept 6 thousand years ago ? how does man prove the age of something.

No, it doesn't matter as it has no relativity to anything concerning the more important things of Biblical truths.

my point exactly.. we need focus on Biblical truths... ministering to the lost.. as the old song says rescue the perishing care for the dying
