Hi everyone

I have recently visited the Jerusalem and I came back a different person. I am looking to read and find out more about God , Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I also feel that talking to people who have the same desire and faith in their hearts, help in the fight to win the pass to heaven.
I am looking forward to talking to you.

Thank you Mike. Yes , since I am not a native English speaker sometimes the meaning is different. What I meant by that was to : the fight to earn the right to be in heaven and be with God forever.

Hi there; good to see you; how are you doing?

God bless His Word to you.

John's Gospel has many references to the Triune God, and a chapter or two per day makes good reading. Ephesians, too, after Galatians and before Philippians, is all about God's wondrous, undeserved grace shown in the Person of the Lord Jesus Who died at the Cross for sinners.

Greetings to you aliciation welcome to the forums,

I have always wanted to visit the Holy Land, but I feel I may not be able to on this side of eternity (we'll see). But I'm looking forward to the New Jerusalem

Thank you both, also for the reading recommendation. As I am an orthodox it is the time for Lent, and I am struggling with all sorts of tries to take me off the right path, some of them are scary. Yesterday our dear dog passed away after a lot of pain, and it is hard, but I am not giving up. Just hope dear God will give me strength and will forgive me for all my sins.

Greetings again aliciation

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your dog, I know how they become one of the family members. We lost our dog on Thanksgiving day 2012 after 14 years. It was difficult.

One thing is certain in this life, and that is the trials that will be set before us to test our faith. All of the great people of the Bible both Old and New Testaments had all gone through trials and tribulations of some sort; but it was their faith that kept them through it. When doors of opportunity seem to be closed and locked, or when there seems to be a cloud over our lives and it just seems to pour rain and storm over us. That is when our faith is tested the most, but how we react and deal with those moments, this is when our faith is shown at work. We must be faithful and continue pushing through all the trials and tribulations in our own lives, and we are in good company, pick any person or persons from the Bible and look at how their faith pulled them through it.

aliciation ,
I want you to know that you don't have to hope for or second guess God's forgiveness of your sins. The Bible tells us in

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

So then we can be assured of this promise because whom the Son sets free is free indeed John 8:36

God Bless you

Hi again.

Those who already love and trust the Lord Jesus follow His loving command: 'this do in remembrance of me' (1 Corinthians 11.24). The Lord's Supper doesn't make people deserve heaven more. Ephesians 2.8-9 says: 'By grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast'.

God bless His Word to you.
