Hi from Aussie Land

Hi and welcome dear Sister Nelly. May God bless your time with us, and I hope to get to know you better as you post. :wave2

Just a little about myself, I was one of those preacher kids, the one whom never seem to reflect the preacher kid ideal. Knew they Bible back to front that is to say in my head, but never applied it to my life or heart, till is was about 33, but even though I thought at the time I gave my heart, life to Jesus Christ, I still went on living just how I had been for such along time. Then one day in my lounge room, I was thinking over what I had been taught about Jesus and realised I just didn't know him, I feel on my knees April 23rd 1998 and gave my life totally to God. He has been my constant friend and guide since then. In 2010 I was struck down with Ménière's Disease, could not work, drive or go out without someone with me. I have a most amazing man, who never grumbles, he is there always for me ,he is my friend, my husband, I couldn't ask for anything more. :) With this illness there is many days I am unable to go to church, and I miss the fellowship with other ladies and I am hoping I can find that fellowship here as we encourage, and grow together.
Sorry if this is abit long winded. God bless you all, have an absolutely wonderful day where ever you are. :)

Touching stories everyone, I too live in Australia...
It's a pleasure to welcome you Brother rthom7. Your user name near sounds like the character robots C-3PO and R2-D2 of Star Wars in time past. I do hope you are blessed in our Christian fellowship and I believe your being from Australia will feel much like home here in that there are many brethren here from that country. May God bless your time with us to His glory in Jesus' name.

Eugene, I wish I could change it, I am better known as Rob. The user name is my Australian username as a teacher, so I am used to it....I teach Science, Maths, Computers and Agriculture. Retired these days. Thanks for the welcome. SHalom
