21 he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Cor. 5:21.
So, how do Christians destroy the Doctrine of Imputation? They do it by believing and teaching that Adam became a sinner because he sinned - completely ignoring and rejecting the sinfulness of Adam at his creation. There is ONLY ONE GOD, there is NONE like Him, and He (God) gives His glory (of which sinlessness, holiness, and righteousness) are the nature and attributes of God. God does not give these attributes to NO ONE the Scripture says. But Christians reject the Scripture that teaches this and postulate their own erroneous theology into their belief systems and even spread the error to other Christian - and God help them, to new born Christians who don't know how to study the Scripture on their own and take the easy way out of learning and regurgitate false teaching that's in the Church.
IF it is the act of sin (Adam's eating of the tree) that make us sinners then the Scripture in 2 Corinthians 5:21 would red like this:
he hath made him [to be] the ACT OF sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the ACT OF righteousness of God in him. 2 Cor. 5:21.
But the Word of Truth says this:
he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Cor. 5:21.
(the words 'to be' in brackets were added by the KJV translators for sentence understanding as the syntax between Greek and English are not always the same.)
So, reading it without the translators additional words it would read like this:
he hath made him sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Cor. 5:21.
God placed the sins of His Elect upon His Son and made Him sin for us. In effect, it was a nature-swap. We took on Christ's righteous-nature and Christ took on our sin nature. And our sin nature was the nature of Adam at his creation for again which was sin-ful-ness. There is only ONE God, there is NONE like Him, and He gives His glory to NO ONE. And God's glory is His sinlessness, His Holiness, His Righteousness and all the other nature/attributes of God. IF Adam was created sinless or holy then that means God gave His glory to another, but Scripture says He didn't.
Christians simply do not understand this when they say Adam was a sinner BECAUSE he sinned.
The truth is that Adam sinned BECAUSE HE WAS A SINNER. (before the act of sin of disobedience.)
