HOW CHRISTIANS DESTROY THE DOCTRINE OF IMPUTATION OF 2 Cor. 5:21

Adam was not created a sinner, he was created in the image of God.

God is holy. God is not a wicked sinner.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27

A sinner is a person who is wicked and unjust.

Sinner — G268

  1. devoted to sin, a sinner
    1. not free from sin
    2. pre-eminently sinful, especially wicked
      1. all wicked men
      2. specifically of men stained with certain definite vices or crimes
        1. tax collectors, heathen

Adam was not created wicked and unjust.

Adam's composition as a created being has to have some standing before a Holy God. IF Adam sinned that makes him a sinner. The fact that the command of THOU SHALT NOT (eat of it) enforces the fact that he was a sinner before the act for if there is no Law (or command) there is no sin. BUT there was a Law. The command in the garden THOU SHALT NOT proves this. Stop being resistant. This fact lays the groundwork for the theology of man and soteriology. Get this right (on Adam) and understanding man and salvation of man becomes Biblical.

Sin is disobedience.

Disobedience is a choice.

A sinner chooses to be disobedient.

Let me put it this way.

Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil. Jer. 13:23.

Martin Luther in his "The Bondage of Sin" said that because of the nature of man, the human nature that he was created with (he was not holy) that man chooses in accordance to its nature. Case in point: If you put a piece of meat in front of a lion and a plate of chicken feed, which will it choose? It will choose according to its nature. The same applies to Adam. He choose according to his nature. He chose to sin (disobey the command of God in the garden). He sinned because his nature was sin-ful. The Greek word is 'harmatia' and it is defined as 'missing the mark.' The word 'harmatia' is translated a 'sin' or 'sinful' in Scripture. God did not created Adam sinless or holy. These are the Nature and Attributes of God. IF God created Adam holy or sinless then God gave His glory to another and this violates the Scripture in Isaiah that says God gives His glory to no one. I cannot see (yet) why you don't see this.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

True. For those in the New Dispensation of the New Covenant in Christ.

But under the Law and before the Promised Holy Spirit was given there was NO ONE "in Christ." Those in the Old Testament were awaiting the Coming of their Messiah. They look forward to the cross. We look backward.

Jesus made Covenant with Abraham.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. Genesis 17:1

  • walk before Me and be blameless.

because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.” Genesis 26:4

I agree. But the Holy Spirit was never IN a Covenant member in the OT. The Holy Spirit 'overshadowed' Prophets, Kings, and Priests. Mary was 'overshadowed.'
The Holy Spirit overshadowed the babe (John) in Elizabeth's womb. But John was not the last prophet under the Law.
Jesus was.

I agree. But the Holy Spirit was never IN a Covenant member in the OT.

Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 1 Peter 1:10-11

Example:

The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:… And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. Zechariah 12:1,10

again

“See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship. Exodus 31:2-5

Abraham being a prophet whom the Lord made covenant with had the Spirit of God in Him, which enabled and empowered Him to walk with God in His presence the way we are called to today; to obey His Voice.

because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.” Genesis 26:5

This is called the obedience of faith which God has called all nations to walk in.

But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: Romans 16:26

I don't respect the NKJV because the translation was developed by Westcott and Hort which is the basis of all new-age modern translations. They omit words, change words, add words, and use Greek texts that are corrupt such as the Sinaiticus and Alexandrian manuscripts that were not used by the early Church.

Strong's defines the word "in" and here is the English usage for that word:

English Words used in KJV:
in 1902 times
by 163
with 140
among 117
at 113
on 62
through 39
miscellaneous translations 265
[Total Count: 2801]

So, depending on the fixed doctrine of the Holy Spirit and prophets, kings, and priests, the word can be "through" or "by" or "with," etc. I don't accept "IN" because there was no atonement at that time.

The Authorized King James Version is the version God ordained for the English-speaking people.
If it ain't broken don't fix it, Westcott and Hort.

Building the Tabernacle was a special calling. I'll accept that.
