The incognito browser window prevents them from following you and in Firefox there is a setting to keep them from planting the cookies that allow them to trace you.

And if you have a laptop with a Web Cam and do not close the lid, they can use it to spy on you in your house. The same is true of a desktop with a cam attached.

There was case a year or so ago where a young lady was shocked when a picture of her appeared on some smut site naked and in her own bedroom. Creep hackers can also do this.

2) If you carry a cell phone, they can track that instantly.

3) If you have windows 10, then everything is tracked that you do on your computer. It can all be disabled, but you have to say goodbye to Cortana.

I don't have a skype camera set up on my computer. It's behind it and anyway I don't like skype.

The conversation was pretty interesting and a lot of insight for the time it was released. I gave up and leave my Skype open and on simply because going off the grid also limits people you can help and share information with. I also have hangouts open and get calls on both.

I share the privacy concerns but I'm not anti technology. I do miss alot of old days of printed press and records and old local stores.it's going away and or gone and isn't going to come back.the bank there in the photo was my bank at another location.ironically I park where it was to photo the power plant I post often about.after citrus bank moved I banked at the bank it become ,first union.i cashed my first pay check there .

It's now a furniture store ,locally owned and first union is Wells Fargo.
