thanks guys another question... old eyes like big icons.. from fire fox i get those little white boxes with a TINY icon any answers to get them bigger

The middle of what? Are you talking about the browser window or something else? Cuz if you put your cursor on a page within your web browser and do the same thing I mentioned it will increase/decrease the size of the page you are viewing.

Yup i did and they all get bigger .... bigger white squares with the 'real icon in them... I guess i want to get ride of the white squares

The squares are likely the button size and that is controlled by the code that places them there.

You might consider using the Brave browser: Brave

The browser is quick, and it also stops ads and most tracking.... Not to mention it is founded by Conservative ownership rather than the liberal policies of both Google or Firefox.Once you install the browser you can import your bookmarks and cookies.... the transition is a snap.At this point you really don't have any options for search engines. Google is the best, but at least with the Brave browser you can minimize the impact while browsing liberal resources.
